“So far, so good. I needed a business bank account and BECU wouldn't let me open one online. I heard good things about Verity, and they made the process reasonably simple. I filled out my application online and was contacted the next day by a banker. She walked me through the rest of the process which involved some forms and providing more info. I did need to do a temporary unfreeze of my credit at one bureau, which I hadn't expected. Thankfully that is easy to do. I have had a chance to do much with y my account yet, except for transfer some starter money in. I'll have to update my review later once I have used it more.”

“I recently opened a line of credit with WSECU to help rebuild my credit. A couple days after receiving my brand new credit card, I was pick pocketed at an event in Seattle and all my cards were stolen. I cancelled the card immediately but there were already 6 transactions on the card. It was a holiday weekend but the day I could reach the main line, the woman who helped me was so wonderful. I wish I could remember her name. If it helps, this was on Tuesday evening 5/30/23 at about 5pm. She was so kind to me, she listened to what happened intently, she went through all the fraud reports with patience and compassion, and she cared about my situation. When she told me the new card would be there in 10-14 days, I asked if there's any way to get it sooner (I offered to pay the expense) she then put me on hold to call her manager and got permission have my card expedited to arrive in 2 business days AND waived the fee for that. My card arrived in 2 days as expected with the balance reset. Wonderful customer service.”

“This becu is not the most convenient with location but every time the people here are friendly and always help out. I'm writing this review to bring attention to my latest visit yesterday. When I entered, I was greeted promptly by Laura. I went in for a notary service and got my document notarized. Upon having that completed, I was asked if there was anything else I needed, which I replied, "no." Before I could get up I was asked if I was working on paying down my credit card? I was caught off guard with the question as I went in for a notary service, not finances. I responded that I am and she followed by mentioning the possibility of getting a personal loan to pay down my "high" balance quicker. While I appreciate that maybe she wanted to help, I did not come in for that. Last time I came in for a notary, I got the service and left. I understand needing to identify me but I came in for a notary, not sure why my financials are being looked into. Is it now policy to inquire about a service a customer has not mentioned?”
