“Great place to hang out with friends or just watch the world go by. Outside seating in the sunshine on good weather days. Fast Wifi for those traveling or working remotely.”
“While in town visiting family we came across this amazing store . The owners were so friendly and helpful . We have bought glass around the world and their glass ranks up there with the best we have found . We purchased quite a few pieces and they look even better in our home than they did in the store . We will be a frequent buyer for sure .”
“Really interesting place! They have pieces for sale, some that are in a permanent collection, and classes available if you wanted to take one. Super friendly girl at the front. It was very well organized which is good for a place filled with glass on display. Making it easy to navigate without fear of hitting anything. You can also sit and watch them work in the 'hot shop' for as long as you'd like. If you want to buy pieces they are extremely expensive, however the artistry is outstanding.”
“Got the last bit of my chest piece finished yesterday and after the whole experience, I had a great time! The atmosphere is so calm and so chill, everyone in the shop is incredibly nice.
All the artist's spaces are clean while also being decorated to their unique tastes (great to look around at when you're on a table for a few hours, lol)!
Seth was the artist for my piece and he was awesome! He was quick and responsive in every conversation, and willing to work with me and adjust to make sure the whole thing came together in a way I loved. It's been a dream piece for like 7 years, and he did a killer job!!
Overall, great experience and I'd love to get more done there—True Love is my go to!”
“Very neat store to browse! Plenty of artist made knick knacks, pins, buttons, and printed shirts. The curators are very personable and will give you introductions based on artist you are viewing. Would recommend a visit.
The only negative thing was not necessary pointed at the shop, but the mall it was located in. You can tell post-covid that the Pacific place mall and the surrounding area is struggling to keep up with inflation and rent. Plenty of closed shops and not enough thriving businesses. We found paid parking at garage belonging to the mall on 6th Avenue.”

2000 NW Market St, Seattle“Whether you’re looking for handmade or conventional art supplies, this store has it all. In particular, I love their selection of fountain pen inks, journals and pens.”
“Wedding for our daughter. The space worked very well for our 130 guests. This area of Seattle has been cleaned up ( thanks to the new mayor) but still not like a winery wedding. Some homeless yelling at people walking past. The ally was rented but not used. The lighting and tables were not inviting out there. All in all a good setting for our family to celebrate!”
“An incredible, eclectic store with great staff. They require guests to wear a mask and are setting such a good example! It's so frustrating to see people get tired of being covid aware so seeing how easy it is for them to take precautions is so refreshing. Thanks for being a safe place for the weird and at-risk!”
“Apex has done an incredible job with all of my clients. They can look at a peice of art and know exactly the frame style it needs. They take care of arranging and installing art perfectly. My clients are always thrilled.”
“Went for an intimate local show with Tobias theOwl in this beautiful gallery. Owner is warm and welcoming and I will definitely be back!(It's also 4 buildings down from my favorite tapas place-added bonus) The art was a variety of 50 artists over 50 and I loved pieces from each artist I saw! Gorgeous backdrop for music <3 Thank you for sharing your space with local artists! ?”

4548 University Way NE, Seattle“Super cool spot! I found an awesome framed vintage Pearl Jam concert poster from a local show in the late 90s as a gift for my partner. Great communication and customer service, and free parking nearby which was a huge plus considering the location. Highly recommend!”

911 24th Ave, Seattle“This beautiful Black &diasporic artistic, and restorative healing community! Such great work to preserve cultural archives and their ongoing advocacy for equitable development land and home ownership. Check it all out! So grateful for all the wonderful events, talks and exhibits, and the enormous love and effort put into preserving this family home and truly, bestowing generational blessings. We loved this last year’s Walk the Block, and the recent screening of Simon Benjamin’s A Bolt from the Blue!”

5408 22nd Ave NW, Seattle“Such an awesome spot in Ballard for local art + goods! There’s a wide variety of things to look at in this space— this is a great gift/card shop, and overall somewhere definitely worth checking out.”
“Equinox Studio had an Open House for Xmas presents. I enjoyed seeing the numerous Artists, Metal works, Iron Art for Burning Man. I saw Nobi and The Force perform too. They were at the Summer Open House too. There are more Artists here than in Pioneer Sqr's Artwalk here in Georgetown. They got some crowds but more people go to Pioneer Sqr monthly. There were a few Food Teucks there. They had two Bonfires. But at least it was not rainy hard to watch the Live Entertainment.”
“While looking for a thank you note with a fish motif, I scoured Annie's Art and Frame's vast selection of cards to no avail. I asked the associate working if she knew of any secret stash that I might've missed. She asked me to wait while she rummaged around the back and came out with the perfect card! Thank you for the kind and patient service. And of course, the cute card, too. PS I tried to upload a photo of the card, but Google kept rejecting it, so you'll just have to go to the store and see the selection for yourself.”

1003 1st Ave, Seattle“Really cool artwork! Interesting perspective. The artist is a super awesome guy and helped my boyfriend and i get custom hoodies with his artwork on them! He was even able to ship them to our house!”
“It's an erotic art gallery. I haven't been in too many but the folks here were really nice, and the art was interesting even when it wasn't a swipe right for me.”
“I've shopped around, and these are the best quality canvass (and metal!) prints I've been able to find, I literally cannot recommend Stretch and Staple highly enough. I'm a wildlife photographer in the Seattle area, and they are the only shop that's been able to print colors and details up to my slightly OCD standards. They will go the extra mile to make sure the colors come out right, and the detail is good enough to see reflections in the eyes of hummingbirds. Ten out of five stars, would print again.”

2611 NW Market St, Seattle“One of the best furniture stores in Seattle! They're full of high-quality, very nicely restored, unique pieces. We've even brought in pictures of areas of the house we're working on and they give amazing recommendations, can make renderings to help visualize the space, and keep an eye out as new things come in.”

405 Main St, Edmonds“Was in need of something unique and specific today - Andrea was so incredibly helpful and understood exactly what I was looking for - she made it happen and then some; I am so thankful for her above and beyond customer service. Definitely recommend The Curious Nest!”

4711 California Ave SW, Seattle“Such a great community theater! I saw "Matt & Ben," and was so impressed with the playful staging and killer performances. Went back for "Clyde's" and had an equally amazing time. I love that they showcase more offbeat and contemporary shows here.”
“A Seattle institution, founded in 1976, and located in a charmer of a brick and mortar in the historic Georgetown neighborhood, sharing opposite sides of a space with Georgetown Records, Fantagraphics is a great place to visit! Full of art, history and just plain fun publications, readers of all ages will find something cool.”
“We hosted a birthday party for my child recently and were extremely pleased with the service we experienced and the quality of the resulting pottery. The kids (and adults) really enjoyed the party.
We have made many pieces at other pottery-painting studios, and were shocked by how much nicer the items we painted at Emerald City Fired Arts turned out; the quality difference was notable. Highly recommended!”
“Fabulous anchor gallery to the Pioneer Square art district. One of my favorite art spaces in the city with a fabulous roster of artists. Phen and her team are very warm and knowledgable.”
“Lots of cool little things in this shop. Pricy, but great quality. The woman who has rung me out a few different times has always been really sweet. I also like that they sell Blackwing pencils individually. Everywhere else sells Blackwings in expensive packs.”
“I first discovered Lars and his art at an outdoor summer festival. I was walking and enjoying the outdoor vendors and bustling sunny streets when suddenly I found myself transfixed - an image of a Japanese maple, emblazoned by the colors of fall, and somehow, inviting me into a quiet moment of internal reflection. The dimensionality of the image and the quiet promise of grace and remembrance is what inspired me to purchase this piece knowing I wanted it to be a part of my daily life. Thank you Lars for the way your images create a portal of peace into an often chaotic world.”
