“I don't normally write reviews but Collins Automotive deserve this review. I am very particular when it comes to customer service as I am in my 50's and I know what it takes to earn a customers business. I am also very quick to take my business elsewhere if I think I am being ripped off or if the business approach is offering lip-service to hollow promises or if the business should have provided a better service.As we all know, the auto-repair business is full of rogues, over-charging and poor workmanship and this leads customers to constantly complain about the cost of repairs and be very doubtful and suspicious of the 'good ones'. I too take this approach because I have been burnt in the past by rogue shops.However, I have found Collins Automotive to be by far the best auto repair facility in the area. Jonathan and Dan are super polite, honest, caring and very respectful towards a customers needs and wants and because they own the business, they lead by example and understand that it takes time and effort to earn a customer and that it only takes seconds to lose one.Also, Collins Automotive is different to the majority of auto-repair shops as they stand by their workmanship and offer a 3-year / 36,000 km warranty......not even manufacturer 'stealerships' offer this kind of warranty on their work. The Collins Automotive warranty demonstrates their commitment to keeping the customer happy and this is just one of the reasons why they are my favourite auto-repair facility.I know auto repairs are expensive but so is living in BC. Collins Automotive are not the most expensive but they aren't your cheap clueless neighbour either. I've read the other reviews and with regard to the very few poor reviews it is very easy to read between the lines. Treat them like the movies....everyone pays for a seat but some people just won't like the movie.....It's called life.But auto-repairs are not the movies. The safe operation / maintenance of a vehicle is paramount to keeping me and everyone else safe and if you want good quality service that meets this criteria then you need to go to Collins Automotive.Do people make mistakes - yes, everyone does at some point in time. Would Collins Automotive do everything they can to make things right if a customer had concerns - in my experience, yes.Jonathan and Dan; you will know who wrote this when I say that 'Sway bar end links are only a 2-bolt job that I could do myself at home', but for you readers, they rightfully earned my business and it was a pleasure to pay for great service......(and this comes from someone who is known to be frugal and who drives a 20 year old Volvo).I've already sent my neighbour to Collins Automotive and she couldn't thank me enough saying 'Jonathan really knows how to treat customers and I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family'. This says it all...........”

His prices were a quite a bit less than that Lube place, and I could tell he did a good job, so I kept him in mind as I was looking for a new mechanic. When BCAA came to give me a jump, he asked in conversation who my mechanic was and I mentioned I would be going to Bob's. He indicated that he thought he was a good mechanic. Bob's is busy, but I thought worth the wait and he did accommodate me.”

“I have a Fiesta ST so I have had my entire clutch hydraulics fail, faulty door and hood latches, and various other issues that come with having a fiesta! I enjoy the work that’s been done and I enjoy whenever I talk to the service writers/techs in person but sometimes the service writers over the phone can be a bit pushy trying to add services I don’t need. As somebody who has brought my car in a few times now, I recommend just being clear about exactly what you want done over the phone and the techs will do a great job!”

My neighbour chimed in on my situation and called Abbas to ask if he could fit in a change to winter tires or if he knew anyone who could. Abbas went out of his way to find a local tire company (Also incredible work Integra Tire Aldergrove) and sorted with them the tires I needed. I drove to his shop and the gentlemen at Integra came and picked up my car to begin switching out the tires. He helped organize the whole thing, kept calling them for me for updates and even was so kind to serve me dates and tea while I waited. Thank you Abbas. His service is definitely worth your time, for he will absolutely treat your vehicle and your time with the same kindness and care.”

“This morning I had a flat tire I live about a block from Bailey's and I called as soon as they opened the young man that was working that said that he would be able to come over and pump up my tire enough for me to drive there once he had somebody else in the shop luckily I was able to pump my tire up enough to get to the shop. Once I got to the shop the guy was able to quickly get the very small nail out of my tire and fix it. I am now on my way to work quickly and safely thanks to the guy working at Bailey's this morning”
