“Love this co-op! The one-time ownership fee was $100 when I joined a couple years ago which gets you access to organic and clean products, locally sourced, an amazing deli and juice/ espresso bar, and a merchandise loft full of gifts, textiles, and kitchenware. Prices are definitely higher than at mainstream grocery stores, but the natural and organic selection is unmatched. Even the deli items are made with clean and organic ingredients. Weekly ad products and sales are where you can save a lot, so subscribing to the emails have been great to see whats on sale. Staff is always helpful and stay busy.I also enjoy the location being off the main street in Mt Vernon and not far off the I5 exit. Parking can be challenging when busy but there is a larger private lot on the eastside of the underpass. Shop, get coffee, get lunch, eat in the loft... taking grocery shopping to another level of indulgence!”

“Was looking for food while staying at the family cabin and The BLG appeared as the closest location for food. The reviews looked great so we headed over.For what seems like a small shop, it is very quaint and offers many items for sale from your typical gad station snacks like soft drinks and candy, to a full menu of hot food to beer and liquor. We got 2 orders of the chicken strips and fries and 1 order of the mac and cheese bites. 15 minutes later we had fantastic hot food. The mac and cheese bites were great and there had to have been a pound worth of fries and chicken apiece. If you find yourself in the Big Lake area this is sure to satisfy your cravings!”

“Big Rock has had a great remodel and better selection of Togo beer and snacks. Chapala's food (best straight up street tacos in MV) and drinks, you can't go wrong. Would love to see elote or chapala's pollo asado chicken wings. Sooo happy chapala has another place! Also ate food too fast to take pictures.”

“I haven't been in a Safeway in years. I needed my Covid Booster and Safeway was offering them, I made my appointment and got in at a perfect time for me. I could tell the pharmacy was being pushed to the limit, which is often the case with pharmacies, that has to be one of the most stressful jobs, it seems like they are always running full throttle. The pharmacist who gave me my shot wasn't the most sociable, but hey I barely felt my shot so that was okay, I was in and out of there faster than it takes me to fill my car up with gas at the mini mart. I would highly recommend the Safeway Pharmacy for your immunizations, they will be the first I call the next time I need one.”

“I have shopped here often and I must say the people that work here have always been helpful and kind. The store is consistently clean and well stocked. The prices on certain items can be a little steep but if you shop the sales and check the prices it's not usually an issue. The bakery offers fantastic choices and great donuts (when they are fresh) The store is always offering specialty items as well. Perfect if you we're putting together a gift basket or grabbing some good cheese and wine for a special occasion. They also have a very large selection of pre-made lunches and dinner items in their deli area. Overall it is a very nice and clean place to shop. Way to go Haagen management and employees! You always go above and beyond and it's noticed.”
