They have always taken great care of our animals, but today truly stood out. I have never been in the room for my pet passing, and I’m very glad I did. The quiet room and the amount of time to spend with my beloved dachshund Buddy was truly a blessing. Finding a decent avian veterinarian isn't always easy, and unless you live in a bigger metro area, it's even harder. I was so excited when I found Dr. Sonya through the Avian Vet Association, and even happier when I found her so close to home. I've been driving from Shelton to Des Moines for years. Besides an initial hiccup with a delayed first appointment, everything went better than I expected! We arrived on time, and were seen quickly, the tech took all our info and explained the routine thoroughly. The doctor came in and spent plenty of time with me learning her history, she explained everything about the procedure, and answered all my questions. I can honestly say this was the easiest doctor appointment my little bird has ever had, and I cannot give this place enough stars to adequately convey my appreciation for them.
