“I have a 2023 Silverado 2500 Duramax/Allison that experienced a hard shift and then went into a limp mode. This is a company work truck that pulls trailers daily so I really needed it fixed ASAP. I tried getting a repair appointment where the truck was purchased but they were out over 1 month. I decided to call Whitney's in Montesano and I'm so glad I did .... They fit me in the very next week and started diagnosis. The transmission valve body was causing an issue and from what I've heard, this is becoming an issue with more & more trucks. From the original call in to Whitney's thru me picking up my truck, I couldn't be happier. Brandon was excellent with communication and was able to get my truck repaired nearly 2 weeks earlier than the worst end of their timeframe. Update: I had an issue with DEF system in a different truck and Whitney's squeezed me right in and fixed the issue right away. These newer trucks are getting too complicated and things are bound to go wrong where they are used as tools... “Finally an honest service department at a dealership that isn't filled with profit hound service managers. I've lived in the area for 3 years and am not a local. I quickly found that the service department at Whitney's is far superior to five star in Aberdeen or driving to Olympia, which is a lesson I learned the hard way. It also seems like a family friendly business that takes care of their employees which is nice to see. Their employees were kind, honest and respected Covid protocols. Wouldn't think twice to buy a vehicle here if I needed one in the future.”
