“We attended this store for the first time today to get my daughter her first pair of boots and helmet. From the moment we arrived we were treated so nicely and the staff were all so friendly. The person helping my daughter was so kind and made my daughter feel at ease as she can be quite shy. They also made sure to include my youngest daughter by giving her stickers. I was a little nervous because I hadn't shot a bow in about 10 years and wasn't sure what the environment would be for someone who just wanted to casually shoot (not in a league or a class), but it ended up being exactly what I was looking for! David was so great - he got us set up with all of our equipment and then showed us proper form. Once we had a couple rounds to get our form down, he helped us aim properly for the center of the target. I got a lot better over one hour in a very non intimidating environment :)”

“Stopped in trying to find some race day shoes for my marathon this month. Wanted to thank Chris so much for his time and attention when navigating such a busy store.They didn’t have the shoe size in stock but he did offer to order them. Im not local so it wasn’t an option but glad to know it’s possible. He scanned my feet (even though it was busy as hell) and took the time to walk me through my results. I learned so much and was just grateful to feel seen in a mall that I don’t normally get that experience in. Although no shoes were purchased today, I did take advantage of their great sale on some shorts and socks. Also wanted to note Tina did a great job too, I think that’s her name she had reddish hair and had a lot of insight.”

“This is a gem of a spot for buying and selling used sports equipment. I came here for a reasonably priced lacrosse ball for physical therapy usage, but left very pleasantly surprised at all quality items available there. The bicycles, sports-specific athletic shoes, various balls, bike accessories, and plethora of sports equipment definitely deserves future visits. I highly recommend checking this place out!”

“HUMUNGOUS shout out to Westra Sports and the epically AWESOME Neil for fitting me in the MOST COMFORTABLE BOOTS EVAH!! I'm soooo stinkin happy!! At 49 with "athletic" calves, injury issues, etc ...it was quite the task getting me fit! Neil took his time, never made me feel bad, was just all around an amazing experience!!! Skied in Whistler this weekend in total comfort!! Also shoutout to our sweet Francine!! Always good to see her and grateful for her expertise in the ski pants department!! After ordering the entire internet worth of pants, who knew the PERFECT NILS pants were waiting for me in my own backyard! Huge reminder to #shoplocalfirst! Been a huge fan of Francine and Crew for a long, long time and this experience was no different!”
“If you're looking for winter sports equipment, make this your first stop! I used their snowboarding rental services last season and came back as I had a great experience previously. All their staff were very friendly and professional. My initial intention was to rent, but after taking some time to think I concluded that it would make more sense to buy my own snowboard as I love the sport and decided it was time to commit. Ethan was so exceptional, he set me up with the most excellent collaboration taking quality and pricing into consideration, I got the best prices and the best equipment. My snowboarding ventures have been phenomenal thanks to his expertise and careful input! I highly recommend this spot to embark on your recreational endeavors :)”

“I got my Matthews bow from a friend several months ago. I accidently dry-fired my bow and it derailed. Went in there today to have my bow repaired. Being new to archery, the two guys there today fixed it right up quickly, taught a lot of what was going on with my bow. If I ever need a repair, I will be going to them. When I get better and decide I want a new bow, I will be going to them.”

I had no idea this was an option and she kindly walked me through different solutions for an initial license that was never sent. This is why I love coming to neighborhood sporting goods stores!”

It was busy and I ended up not getting anything, but he was incredibly helpful with all customers in the store and was still aware of the register in case someone was ready to check out.”

The minus star is for being a tad pushy on the membership program. 5 different employees tried pushing the $30 membership. They should probably back off a tad on that.”

“We use Pro Player for ordering youth baseball jerseys and the team store for families to order team wear. We had some initial difficulty with responsiveness, but once our team got assigned to Brooklyn in customer service/order entry, we have had nothing but great service, good quality and excellent responsiveness. We love the look of the 3D hat embroidery. Now we are a repeat customer and would recommend Pro Player for jersey and team wear needs. The team store makes is easy for families and fans to order team wear in a variety of options.”
