“The World Market in Lynnwood at/by Alderwood Mall was one of the places my family and I enjoyed visiting to look for fun room decorations and miscellaneous snacks when I was growing up. It was a little further from the house, so our visits tended to be on days we needed to make more than one stop. However, depending on what we were looking for/through, our visits could be on the longer side.Inventory could cycle relatively quickly compared to some stores with a similar style, so it was fun to come and see what was new and what was still on the shelves. It was a place where my sister and I learned that if we wanted something, we might want to get it because what it was might not be in stock the next time we came by.Lines at check out were typically quick and parking relatively easy to find, though there have been occasions when circling has been necessary. My mom and I continue to come to this location on occasion when looking for presents.”

“So far I'm absolutely loving this pottery studio. The owner and instructors couldn't be any friendlier! I haven't thrown ceramics in a decade and am starting off with smaller pieces on the wheel. Prices for the month can vary. A full month is 195 for the course plus another 40 dollars for materials. There are about ten wheels in total, and a sweet cat who likes laying in paper bags and on pottery wheels. Buying a new bag of clay is 49.95, and I am looking forward to what else I can create over time.”

“Requested a quote in January '23, paid for full in March '23, still waiting for the blinds in July '23. Sales person does not even bother to respond via phone or email. Disappointing service so far. I have escalated to the franchise owner Ryan DeVries today. Will keep the review updated.Update 8/19/2023 - After escalating to Ryan, things moved very fast. He was able to get to the bottom of the issue and was very responsive. He provided frequent updates on when the blinds would be available, etc. He also expedited the install just in time for the summer. The installation crew was professional and courteous. They installed the blinds over two weekends (it was much more complicated than I expected), taking care of routing the power cords correctly. Once Ryan was involved, the experience was 5 star.”

If you are one of those people who starts thinking about Christmas a few days after Easter, you will also love Trudy's Hallmark Shop. “I love going into this shop and the people there. They are always so friendly and helpful. The level of customer service here is hard to find anywhere anymore! The booths are always nicely done and I never see loads of dust and trash that you normally see in other shops or sloppy thrown-together booths with broken displays. They work hard to keep it clean and nice and it shows. You can also see the different personalities in each person's unique displays. Which makes it even more fun to explore and shop in my opinion. I hadn't been able to stop by in a very long time until last week. I don't get to the Bothell area that much anymore. I'm hoping to go back this week lol... When I stopped by the atmosphere was still the same very friendly and helpful as it always was before! I would recommend everyone to stop by and check this shop out if you haven't! They have a lot of fun and unique items for sale to fit anyone's taste and style. I can spend hours just having fun exploring the large selection of items. It's great for finding a gift for someone special or that friend that's hard to buy for. If ever I was looking for something specific in the past they would try to find it for me. They are great at answering any questions you may have or reaching out to people they know to try and find an item you are trying to looking for as well.
