“I have been a customer of the Marysville branch of NFCU about 5 years, best bank I've ever used. Anyone with a relative (dead or living), or even room mate who is or has been in the armed forces, can join. I began coming here due their high CD rates, better even than most of the online banks, and they have many local branches where you can visit your money. This had been the closest branch to me accessible to civilians, a couple months ago they opened a new one near Alderwood Mall. I go there for simple stuff, but still consider Marysville my branch. So I went up to change some CD's to higher new rates. I was expecting to pay the penalty for breaking our deal, and was told the fees would be waived! I couldn't believe it. Always so friendly, and extra spiffy being in the Naval Support Complex, which despite the name, is accessible to civilians.”

Things were busy but she was very patient and charismatic, we had good chats while waiting for confirmation from the Everett location. Absolute night and day difference between the previous teller we'd tried to work with.Earlier this week, we were helped by Teresa B. and my experience with her had me leaving the bank feeling so discouraged and alienated I was ready to switch banks. She accused me 3 different times of making late payments, even this current month when the payment she was accusing me of being late on is due TODAY. I have been a customer with BECU my entire adult life, my first car and every one of my loans have been through them; and paid off (early). The coldness I received from Teresa B. was entirely uncalled for.”

They are very friendly and conveniently located. Drive through for banking and inside banking as well. The online site does charge about $10+ for paying online, and over the phone, so I usually go inside and pay. I like this place overall. Would recommend”

I went into BECU a few weeks ago to iron out some issues with my accounts...this easily could have been a major headache, but Tyler was amazing! He is very knowledgeable, thorough, helpful, and personable. Though it took awhile to fix all the issues with my accounts (they were setup improperly at a different BECU branch by a consultant in training - mistakes happen!), he took the time to make sure EVERYTHING was taken care of properly, and he made it an overall positive experience.
