“I literally have never written a google review before, but Puget Sound Moving made our latest moving experience so easy- I really had to.
Booking was easy and staff were super accommodating across the board when we had a change of moving date. Kevin and the rest of our team of movers were awesome and so helpful, helping us move awkward-shaped or sized items that my husband and I were planning to pick up ourselves later (had no expectation of movers to help with things like boxes with picture frames sticking out- they wrapped the top with shrink wrap and safely transported it for us to our new place). And at our new place, they navigated the awkward hills with ease and grace. They truly went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations, raising the bar on all fronts. We love our new place, but if we ever need to move again, I’m calling Puget Sound Moving.”

“This was the best and easiest move I have ever had. This company is top notch!! Super professional. Super careful, takes good care of your things, and gets it done. They showed up right on time at the stroke of 9 AM and got it done in two hours. I paid exactly the fee that they quoted me because there’s no hidden fees at all. Their contract is straightforward and their prices are more than affordable. I tried getting quotes from several other companies and I couldn’t afford it. “The moving team from John Volken Academy just did an incredible job for me. First, I stopped in the furniture store late Friday afternoon to ask about their moving services. They had an opening that Monday. The team was a great bunch of guys that worked their tails off which is a testament to the work the Academy does. In addition to some of my household items, they moved a large hot tub, a pod type massage chair, a health club duty Precor elliptical, 2 safes plus a few other stupid heavy items. They are priced about the same as other movers I got ad cards in the mail from, and you are supporting a great organization that is helping guys rebuild their lives.”

“The people were so nice and extremely helpful. The process was made easy and convenient for me, the rules and details and everything was explained so easily. The prices were convenient for me as well, I did a lot of research with different storage facilities and I am extremely impressed with this one!! Also the way they interacted with my small child was a step above and beyond 10/10 would recommend!”

“We used U-Pack to move my son back from college. We had a store the cube for almost two years in between.

Drop-off of the cube was exactly as promised, and the truck/fork-lift made it easy to place and position where we wanted it. Timing was critical as we had a short window to move out.

Pick-up was great - we had already left. Speed across the country was as promised.

We had a little trouble gaining access to the cube in storage - as was promised to us from U-Pack but ABF people didn't like it. We had to do this once. I guess this is not normally part of the deal.

Final delivery of the cube happened very quickly when we were finally ready - the next day - and pick-up of the empty cube happened quickly and without us being there.

The cube remained remarkably clean and dry during shipment and storage. Little dust and no water got it. YMMV.”

“My mom recommended James and his team to us to help us move into our first home, and I am so happy we went with her recommendation. James came by a few weeks before to take a look at what we had to move and give us a quote. I want to emphasize how kind and polite James was and how at ease he made this process feel. We also had to reschedule the move multiple times due to closing conflicts with our new home and his wife Marsha was quick to respond and very accommodating to our needs. On moving day he arrived with his team of 3 ( I forgot their names) and they were all kind, respectful and quick to get our things packed up and loaded in the truck. We had my kids with us on moving day, which I know can be less than ideal when trying to move quickly and efficiently but James and his team worked around them and also acknowledged any questions they had asked which was something I really appreciated . I hope to never move again but if I do, we will be sure to use them again.”

I was nervous my stuff was not going to fit into the storage unit I had reserved, but they got it all in with a little space to spare. “We've used UNITs a couple times now. Once for a week long storage and now for 6 months for 2 16' foot units. Both times they've been incredibly responsive and helpful. Not a single item was damaged and the units were placed and picked up as if by magic. THANK YOU!!!”

“The staff is the reason this review has any stars. Ron specifically, if you're out there dude, I hope they give you a raise.Ron went above and beyond to help and take care of everyone after an unfortunate theft from multiple units across the complex.The theft was allegedly of a nature that it was something nearly impossible to completely prevent anywhere, no matter their level of security, and it was caught on camera with a prompt police report. The security at this location is good. No level of security prevents everything.Ron handled the whole situation extremely well and was incredibly kind and professional about everything.Seriously if you're Ron's boss and you are reading this: give him a pay raise and extra vacation time; he deserves the best. You want to keep him around.Also the other staff were extremely kind and helpful, Ron just went completely above and beyond to help everyone and was the main point of contact.Units clean, accessible, can take a medium size moving truck in the area. Gate coded individually, cameras everywhere, options to add additional locks but one tube lock comes included with unit.Photo of unit when first rented”

“I have used Allied for two big moves over the last five years. One international, and one cross-country and I have nothing but good things to say about both experiences.My most recent cross-country with Western (via Allied) went seamlessly and the experience alleviated much of the stress that can come with such a significant change. They stayed true to the estimated quote, were incredibly punctual and arrived early and right in time, handled my items with great care and wrapped all of my more fragile items and furniture so well. They arrived at my destination at the early days of the time window provided and again, right on time and early morning. Michelle was very personable and paid great attention to detail. Still stunned at how quickly she can put furniture together without instructions! All of my items on the inventory list were accounted for and NOT ONE THING was damaged or broken even knowing my goods were transferred from small trucks to big trucks along the way. I felt like the whole crew really cared for and has a respect my stuff and my home. Would use Western and Allied again without a worry!”

“Move Specs: Seattle to Austin 700 sq ft 1 bedroom Busy downtown street We contracted Scout Moving through Budget Van Lines and after reading a lot of reviews were pretty worried. We had to choose a period of four days to have our stuff picked up during, and they promptly scheduled themselves to come on our first available pickup date. John and his team of three other men showed up at our house right on time, and packaged our items super, super thoroughly. They did the entire move in under two hours and were so friendly throughout the entire process. We did have to end up paying a bit extra because we added items the day of, but that's to be expected. If you can work with John as a foreman, I would recommend him and his team highly. We'll see if our stuff makes it to Austin, but for now we're very happy with the first leg of the journey.”

Big full days of hard work for these three and always had a smile. We loved working with them. And they were very reliable with the date for delivery.
