“There are lots of things to love about this pharmacy: professional and highly competent staff, awesome gift shop, drive thru, etc. but what really stands out for me is the speed of pickup. There's no comparison.

Previously, when I went to national brand pharmacies, the pharmacists would tell me something like "we'll have that ready for you in about 15 minutes" despite me having received the notification saying it was ready. It's almost like it's a deliberate delay to trick you into wandering around their store and buying something...

Ostrom's is different. The pharmacy counter is just past the entrance; you don't have to wade past aisles of snacks, makeup, etc. If you received notification that your prescription is ready for pickup, then it's READY. The gift shop section is stocked with products that are actually compelling, so they trust that people will want to look through it of their own accord.

To prove a point about how fast their pickup process is, one time I took a deep breath before walking inside, and I was back outside with prescription in hand before I needed to take another breath. I'm not recommending others try this; it just gives me a fun way to answer when people ask why I go there.”

“My family has been going to this pharmacy for about 7 years. Today James kept the doors open into the pharmacists' lunch break in order to fill an antibiotics Rx for my 3 year old. When I thanked him, he said "Of course, the kid is sick and needs antibiotics". Rather than telling us to wait an hour due to the scheduled break, he went above and beyond to fill the order right away. This kind of commitment to their customers and community is exactly what has us coming back. Thanks James and Rite Aid team!”

I've had the pharmacist call me to make sure I wanted to pay for a medication because the price seemed high, which I appreciate. They are always quick to get prescriptions ready too. I have never been disappointed with any form of their services.”
