We recently purchased a new vehicle and the dealership kept trying to get us to go with their lenders but we like who we’ve worked with over the years. She didn’t review our application but she did help out on a form we needed updated before we signed. We actually don't bank there and she was so accommodating and gave us enough for our personal stash of coins we've gathering. “Update: Previous bad experience below (eventually the hold came off and i got direct deposit but BECU never actually reached out about this again), however, I had to go in again for a name change and ordering checks and had a great experience. Changing my review from 1 star to 4I just opened an account with BECU as I moved to Washington from Illinois and my bank doesnt have a branch near here. My family also has accounts here and I was told how great BECU is.I opened my account online and mobile deposited my payroll check and a five business day hold was put on it.I messaged with a representative on the BECU mobile chat and was told that the hold could be taken off but it would need a manager to make an exception.When I came into this branch to try and get it sorted out I felt the people I talked to (I can't remember their names) were a little condescending and didnt want to help me at all. The manager also told me there was "no way" that an exception could be made and the hold taken off.I've worked at Banks and was told to never put a hold on a payroll check so I thought it was very strange that a credit union would do so and wouldn't even work with me on it.Being told how great BECU was, this is really not a great way to start off.”
“If I could give 10 STARS I would! Since moving to the community January 2022, Ocean Shores Timberland Bank customer service has been BEYOND outstanding! Disabled husband with wife still working, getting by week to week watching every penny a bad actor somewhere tried to steal every thing from us. No, we are not part of the "elite entitled rich upperclass" paycheck to paycheck is more accurate. Timberland stepped up and handled this B.S. in 1 day! Thank you, sincerely, to the entire Team at Timberland.”

“Many times particularly late night or weekends many times the atm is out of service or the screen is blank, very inconvenient. At times when I try to deposit cash it let's me go thru the procedure but then it won't accept the cash. This branch has many problems with their outside ATM. Also their mobile app constantly and frequently crashes”
