“In the height of the big box book stores over 20 yrs ago- Half Price Books was where you went to get new releases on the cheap plus a decent dime for your old books. You can still find deals and hidden gems and I just donate my old books these days. If you enjoy perusing for good finds and the old book smell adds to your experience then honestly just go - to this one or any of those left. Its a fun bookstore that has managed to stay open so 5 stars automatic - unfortunately these too are disappearing little by little.”

“This nature walk is delightful.There are some shaded portions of their boardwalk that have gotten a bit funky with algae or something that can make it a bit slippery, and I suggest only going on dry days if you have any mobility impairments.Their artificial stream/fish viewing area is unfortunately skippable. Every time I’ve looked it’s been so dirty/murky there was nothing to see. I feel that it could be better maintained.Their hours are also a bit limited and I really wish they were open on Sundays as that is usually the day my family likes to go on nature walks.But I love the walk and I love supporting the foundation through membership and their cute little shop.”

The staff was so kind, helpful, but also gave me my space to find what spoke to me.The items I found inside this store were so special! I’ve been into many metaphysical shops over the years and this one is by far my favorite. The wonderful smells, quiet but groovy music and the abundance of color really struck me.
