PI came in today because I had arranged babysitting for a family over Facebook messenger, this family sent me check to deposit instead of normal payment like Venmo or Zelle. I was extremely unsure about depositing this check so I came into this BECU to speak with someone and get some advice. I got connected with EXTREMELY KIND, AND EMPATHETIC MEG. P. This lady is an Angel and didn't make me feel stupid at all for almost falling for this scam. Instead she kindly explained to me how these scams work and gave me the reassurance I needed. She greeted me with a kind smile and I've never received better customer service at a bank. Give that lady a raise! Thank you!”
“I had a great experience with Christy, the Branch Manager in Sammamish. After spending over 2 hours with no success working with the WaFd phone representative to try to determine why my online autopayment was not posted as usual, I called the local branch. Within ten minutes, Christy was able to determine that when the online banking system had changed on November 15th, they had canceled my autopayment. She helped me setup autopayment at the branch. Really great customer service - she made the extra effort to help and I am grateful.”

It was a problem that was caused by Scientology. Going clear will clear out your bank account. I nearly lost the ability to have a bank account. I didn't know it was Scientology. It was a front group. Luckily I opened a joint account here for my dancer girlfriend and forgot about it, after our breakup. The manager was able to restore my account. Hard to say when my credit will be restored. It would have been impossible without a bank account.”
“While my experience with corporate banking for my mortgage hasn't been my favorite, when I had an issue with mortgage payments not being applied correctly I set up an appointment at the branch. When I arrived the branch manager had already looked into it, spending two hours on the phone with the bank support ahead of my arrival and had a full explanation of what had happened and possible options to remedy it. She also got the support person's direct number so we could call them together and get everything fixed. Honestly, it was the best banking support I've ever received.”

“Yesterday I had an amazing experience and received incredible customer service at that branch.
At first, when I entered the branch I was immediately acknowledged and welcomed with a big smile. I've shared the concern I had and at the moment I was referring to the right person to continue my meeting with. In my case, that was a home loan officer. Loraein was very friendly, and helpful, and explained to me in detail the whole process so I felt safe and with no bland spots. The application process was very fast and easy because of her professionalism. In the end, I had all the documents and approvals I needed. The whole branch is so well organized that cannot feel any pressure and there is no waiting time to be served.
I highly recommend anyone who has a serious business to do to count on those branch bankers. They go above and beyond to fulfill customer needs in their best interest.”
