“Want an old school, professional, efficient, warm, courteous, knowledgeable, experienced,time saving & give a damn pharmacy? You've found it in this one. They've been great every time.Had an emergency with my beloved Elderly cat on home hospice for cancer. Am lucky to have an outstanding hospice vet who recommended this pharmacy. He needed a stronger flavor in his rx this last time to get him to open his mouth I'd discovered & called the pharmacy the day before Xmas eve day to inquire as to what to do about it. I was told the solution but was unable to drive there due to being in the hospital myself 3 times this month & was too ill to drive anywhere. I explained my predicament & we knew the mail would take longer than my cat's immediate urgent needs. The pharmacist did something that blew me away that I've only ever had in very small towns long ago; he went above & beyond the call of duty in insane traffic well out of his way a few hours later to bring me the extra flavoring! Didn't charge me one red cent either for doing it.Remember when we mattered? We matter here as do our loved ones including our pet family. This give a damn caring service is almost extinct in modern times & I'm very grateful to the pharmacist, (Mike), & pharmacy for helping my precious kitty & I when we were in such need. Thank you again! Thanks to Mike & the entire NWPC crew BRAVO!This pharmacy walks the walk. I'd recommended it to everyone! You matter here. The pharmacist (& owner Mike), saved the day! He had offered a closed store day help in pharmacy via phone a few months back for my cat's same compounded rx should I need it. Been getting my cat's rx for over a year here at NW Pharmaceutical Compounding & I'm very impressed all around.The communication failuresor delays that happen at other pharmacies between pharmacy & doctor don't happen here nor are there issues with clear & concise communication with me. NWPC & crew make you feel better & lower the anxiety level instead of adding fuel to it. Too many pharmacies add insult to injury. Not here. You're in good hands & yes, they have your back as well as your loved pet's back. The rx wasn't for me but the emergency aid flavoring run to my home when I was too sick to drive eased my worries because I, also with a splinted wrist & hand, wasn't easily attempting a one handed rx cheek pouch application on a very fragile cat who wouldn't open up adding upset & struggle to his last precious days would've hindered him & my own ongoing recovery without a doubt. We were both helped.Kate's Gifts is also there in person & an utterly delightful bonus. If waiting for your rx you may be peeved at their efficiency because one becomes sucked into an enchanted vortex looking at Kate's Gifts! You've been warned, lol. “Never had any problems with this pharmacy. 4 stars are only for not always finding whatever I was looking for, but it's just me. They speak English, Russian and, I believe, Ukrainian too. Also, the owners speak Armenian. It's always better to call ahead to get a prescription filled than waiting for it there.”

“Whenever I visit the Northwest, Freddy's is a must since they are not a thing in So. Cal. I like the one-stop shopping deal, and I have a Freddy's card and know how to get discounts. We got a great deal on a large, wild caught salmon, which was a big hit at our barbeque. This location is one of the smaller ones, and limes were high priced, but we found a parking spot and a cart inside, so it's all good.”

“I have a broken back, so can no longer shop at a supermarket. Fred Meyer is a lifesaver with their home delivery. Their online web page for ordering is easy to navigate. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of products is great. When they come to deliver, I go out to my third-floor balcony and toss my keys down to the delivery man. He lets himself into the building and brings my groceries up to my apartment. Quick and easy from start to finish. I can't rave about them enough.”

“I ordered curbside from this location a while back and it was a wonderful experience. They even gave me a few surprises in my order (samples of food and beauty items) which was appreciated. That didn't happen this time, but I am a repeat customer and of course I wasn't expecting it. Perhaps that first visit I just got lucky. Anyway, I had an appointment for 8pm and I had just come from Fred Meyer on 196th (Lynnwood) where I had picked up a bunch of groceries (also curbside). Since I got to Walmart so early (about 55 minutes early) , I was prepared to wait in my car for a while. I hadn't been there more than five minutes and the associate came to my car. I told him that my "appointment" was for 8pm, and when I gave him my name he said it was ready. That was such a nice surprise. I'm still kind of new to curbside ordering so I was really happy that I got my order almost an hour early. The parking lot was well lit, but I was a little apprehensive about sitting in my car to wait. I'm really glad I didn't have to do that. They made a few substitutions on my order for things they were out of, but I was happy with the final result. A side note: I went into the store a few months ago just to check it out and I was disappointed with the selections. Nothing special about it at all, but I do recommend their curbside pickup.”

The pharmacist(I didn't catch his name) was so helpful and did everything he could to help, when my prescription medicine expired within the pharmacy and he couldn't give it to me so he call my dentist to get a new prescription while juggling a BUSY pharmacy. “I recently switched from Store #6614 to Store #6302. And the change is like going from night to day. I will give the address of each store below, but first I must tell you how my customer experience has vastly improved by changing stores. BTW I am speaking exclusively about ONLY the pharmacy department in both locations. At the old location one of my monthly Rx would never be in stock and was always on backorder. The new location seems to have figured out how to make sure that when Rx are due according to my auto refills, they have enough on hand (or have ordered in advance to avoid running out). One might expect similar customer service from each store in a chain like Walgreens, but let me tell you, that is an invalid assumption. I believe it all comes down to the people who work there day to day that create an excellent customer experience and give the customer a reason to want to come back again and again. “First time visiting my local Fred Meyer Pharmacy. The designed space seems very small, but really, the space is very efficient. And I loved that the RX information sheets were printed in small type. One sheet per RX, not four pages, as with Safeway. Not busy, very clean. The staff was very helpful. I will be back every month.”

“It’s disappointing to hear bad reviews here; but it’s probably because those people haven’t actually worked at a clinic or pharmacy themselves. Procedures and protocols can really limit how quickly something gets done—and often times (because I’ve worked in a clinic and pharmacy before), the ball gets dropped at the clinic. Granted, not always, but often. Why? Well, usually it’s because the clinics have so much that has to be done. They don’t get to focus on one area, like prescriptions only—and one has to give the benefit of the doubt that the staff didn’t avoid doing something on purpose, eh? That being said, we still just have to remember that no one is perfect, people have bad days or don’t feel well (patient or provider) and things happen. Still, in my experience, the people who work at this pharmacy, and many other Safeway pharmacies I’ve been to, are wonderful. They, like MOST pharmacies and other health care locations, deal with staff shortages and being overwhelmed with busy-ness. Yet, compared to other pharmacy companies, they have kind and caring staff. It’s why I’ve stayed with Safeway for years. I hope this helps someone see a different perspective. Best wishes.”

“Been getting the medications for my pets and myself from this Costco for years. The staff is super friendly, efficient, and helpful! Costco prescribed medications are generally cheaper than the other pharmacies I have been. And even if you don't have insurance, you can ask if they can apply the Costco discount for you. The staffs are also willing to help you to find alternate generic brands to save you money. The only downside is that sometimes the line could get long as it gets crowded at Costco at times, but that's normal as Costco is such a popular retail grocery store.”
