“Was headed over the pass to my daughters wedding in North Idaho and my new Ford escape started going into limp mode. Buddy got me in and took care of business in less than hours, I know they took pity on me, but it was so appreciated, I mean soooo unheard of especially in a Metro area! Repair was awesome, reasonable price and cruised over and back with no issues!”

“I have always been treated kindly here and I shop at this place often after work since I live so close. I especially want to state my appreciation towards the late night shift worker. I work late hours sometimes and I stop by this market for my wine and snapple on my way home from work. There were times at about 1AM, people will stop me and ask me to buy them cigarettes. Which I have no problem doing, because if someone truly needs the help, I would want to help them. But one particular time, I asked this late night shift worker if I should buy cigarettes for the person outside (since the person I was helping specifically mentioned that manor market doesn't want them inside) and I was worried Manor Market had kicked this person out of their store for a reason I didn't know about. So I asked the person behind the counter if it was a bad idea to buy him something, because I didn't know if the guy was sketchy and if there was a reason the market didn't want him in the store. And the worker said "I don't want someone to take advantage of you; I think he is trying to get free things from people" And he came all the way outside with me and asked the man to come inside the store so he could get him some cigarettes rather than ask me for some help. I was just really shocked by this workers act of kindness, because I didn't ask the guy behind the counter to do that for me. I think he wanted to make sure I was safe which I really appreciated since I’m a young female. He also didn't want people taking advantage of my kindness. Thank you for looking after me sir. I will definitely be returning”

“Great sandwiches. This shop is located in a hub over a dozen or so other unique food joints(and a Subway). It is more of a mini-mart with all the normal gas stop fixings and a deli shop in the back. The good thing about this place, other than the funny name, is all the tables you can sit and enjoy your meal. I recommend the Italian Grinder with some fries.”

“Came into this location on August 10th at about 9:45 PM. I reeeeeeeeally needed to use the restroom because the Albertsons nearby doesn't keep theirs open at night. The man behind the counter gave me a place to pee and refused my beer sale due to an expired id. This is not a complaint. The kindness he showed me while lawfully and correctly refusing service was something I never see in this industry. I wasn't trying to pull one.over on him, I genuinely didn't know I had let my ID expire. He did the right thing and was extraordinarily kind. Thanks for training your people well.”

“Burgers are Always cooked and seasoned perfectly. Never had to wait even when they have live music and are extremely busy. Given that they usually only have one staff member working , that is impressive! Definitely the best burgers on the south end of Whidbey Island!”
