“Best in the business, Robert has 40 plus years experience repairing vehicles is not comparable! Very fair pricing, won't mark up labor if you bring in your own parts, very open communication and accurate time to completion. No waiting area but you can bring a folding chair. There really are zero negatives to mention. Just go to him!”

“This is truly the best local shop around. I just called to have my Jeep looked at. He asked what was going on. After explaining what the issue was he told me what to look for since they are booked out for awhile. Simple enough. I do most mechanical work on my Jeeps so this was super helpful. I will recommend and send my vehicles there any time!Service: General repairs & maintenance”

“I use to have a honest mechanic shop that I took all my vehicles too for over a decade. Then the owner retired and I lost my faithful honest mechanic. Been looking ever since. Then I had an issue with my electrical system in my Ford F150 4X4 and I called numerous shops including checking on Yelp seeing if I could find a knowledgeable mechanic that I felt I could trust. Unfortunately if you have read my other reviews of the auto shops I talked with regarding my trucks electrical system. Not a one of them gave me any reason to believe they knew the difference between a 12 volt system on a Ford from a Chevy or Datsun/Toyota for that matter? Then I called Hockinson Auto works and explained my problem with my trucks electrical system and I believe it was Jerry I talked with that was the first that was actually able to tell me exactly what he thought the problem was and why and it all made sense! So I took my Truck to Hockinson Auto Works and he was right on the money what the problem was. Which he replaced a fuse link and my power came back on. Unfortunately thinking that fixed the problem didn't actually resolve what blew the fuse in the first place though. I went to get my truck and made it about a mile down the road when the engine died again and I had no electricity inside the cab again. Luckily I was able to pull off the road into some peoples property that was kind enough to let me leave my truck there for the weekend. But Jerry drove down to where I had broke down at to see if he could get my truck running long enough to take it back to his shop to see what's blowing this fuse? I was going to have the truck towed back to Hockinson Monday morning, but Jerry called me letting me know he already got my truck back to his shop to work on it! with more research Jerry found a short in a wire that never was fused like it should have been. Once Jerry fixed the short in the wire and replace the fuse link again my truck was back to running like New again. Jerry was even kind enough to give my a hefty discount for my truck breaking down on me after I went back to pick it up the first time. Which I was very appreciative he gave me the discount. Believe I've found my new faithful honest mechanic that I will be taking my vehicle to from now on as long as they don't retire like my other mechanic did? I'd highly recommend Hockinson Auto Works any day of the week. Especially if you have older vehicles Hockinson the only shop that seems to have the knowledge to fix them much less even willing to work on the older vehicles! When it comes to being picky who I have work on my home, cars, and other equipment, I'm probably about as picky a person you'll ever find. I don't trust businesses easily, they have to earn my trust! Seen way too many people get scammed by other businesses including myself. Hockinson has definitely earned my trust as well as my future business too! I look forward to working with Hockinson Auto Works with my other vehicle here soon that also needs some TLC! I have no doubt that Jerry will take care of me and my vehicle to the best of his ability and always be as fair and honest as he can be! You really can't ask more than that from a company you hire to work on your vehicles! Thanks again Jerry! Btw Jerry, that dead bug you found in my truck. I was wrong, it wasn't a stink bug. I believe you were right, it's a huge Japanese beetle! I may of picked that up when I was down in the Sand Dunes some time ago. Only time I remember seeing it bug like that! Kind of scary looking!”
