“I've been looking for a place to get a proper suit made for a while. I consider myself a difficult fit -- my chest measurement is at least 10 inches more than my waist. My posture is very upright and that just makes the chest issue even more difficult. There aren't many places in the US outside of New York that do real bespoke -- patterns cut from scratch. I'm glad I found Gabriel. He has a great understanding of classic men's style and proportions. The suit he made for me is very comfortable and continues to get better as the canvas takes the shape of my body. I keep looking for areas to make micro improvements for my next project with him. But to be honest, the fit is so good I'm not sure there's much to change other than experimenting with other styles, like a double breasted. I plan on commissioning something from him every year as long as I stay in Washington. The super tight, short jacket with the bum exposed, with skinny lapels was trending for a while on off the rack clothing. Even some made to measure places make suits like this. If you are looking for a suit to wear for the next 10 years, I encourage you to give Gabriel a try and have him make something timeless for you.”
“I visited the Redmond location for the first time yesterday looking for new running shoes and it just happened to be during their anniversary sale. I was specifically looking at Brooks and Altra running shoes and narrowed it down to a couple of different Brooks models. Two staff helped me and they were both extremely knowledgeable. I don't want to bore you with my specific questions, but based on their technical answers, I narrowed it down a shoe that would support my natural foot fall and provide stability for my road running, and let me tell you I was torn between a couple of shoes. I was glad the shoe I chose was more discounted than the anniversary 15% off sale! I ran with my new shoes today and I am in love with them. The staff led me in the right direction. “Such a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Matthea who helped me explore every shoe option I mentioned. I was looking for a pair of shoes that would support my feet for 10+ hour clinic shifts. She took the time to size me, explain to me the shape of my feet (which helped me realize I've been wearing all the wrong shoes thus far), and even brought out multiple sizes/styles/brands for me to try. She guided me through the process of picking the shoe that best fit my feet and provided maximal comfort. I had TONS of questions before making my purchase, and she kindly and patiently answered every single one. I never once felt like they were pushing me to purchase anything, which is really important to me as a customer. I appreciated the fact that they were focused on finding me what worked best and educating me for future purchases. Already planning to buy my next pair of shoes from them! “Stopped in trying to find some race day shoes for my marathon this month. Wanted to thank Chris so much for his time and attention when navigating such a busy store.They didn’t have the shoe size in stock but he did offer to order them. Im not local so it wasn’t an option but glad to know it’s possible. He scanned my feet (even though it was busy as hell) and took the time to walk me through my results. I learned so much and was just grateful to feel seen in a mall that I don’t normally get that experience in. Although no shoes were purchased today, I did take advantage of their great sale on some shorts and socks. “This running store was located just east of Green Lake, a relatively short walk from the Roosevelt Station. While I did only come here to pick up my race packet for a local half marathon, I ended up checking out their store as I was due to replace my worn out running belt. I didn't find a suitable replacement, but the store was very well organized. The employees were all nice and friendly. If I'm ever in the area and need any running equipment or an emergency pair of shoes, I'll most likely be coming here.”

“I had no idea this place existed but I'm so glad I found it! So I made an in-app purchase with a store pickup in Lynnwood since the downtown local is no longer. Trying to find the luggage dept was interesting but upon searching for it on the second floor I ran into this place called "Backstage." I know it sounds a little mafia-like ? and although things are scattered, kind of messy and disorganized, think..."Nordstrom level Ross" ? you can still find some great deals here for mid to high-end brand names. Who even knew this existed? After finding backstage I ended up returning the in-app purchase and ended up buying an in-store Black Friday deal on a Samsonite $400+ hardside carry-on I got for less than $200. Literally, Backstage is basically Macy's on a much smaller scale and a little bit crazier (like it's really hot mess). If you don't mind that and appreciate the savings then it's worth your visit.”
“Did not buy shoes but was very happy with customer service. There was one person working at the store, and he was happy to bring me pair after pair of booties, trying to find something that would fit my wide feet. I found that the made in France Mephisto shoes with natural rubber soles were quite comfortable, but my feet were just a little bit too wide for them and were hanging over the sole on the side. I have been in a lot of shoe stores lately and I really appreciated that he didn't want to argue with me about what my foot did - or didn't - need! He was very nice about "this one might work, try it and we will see." These are very high quality shoes, made to be kept for a long time and resoled. I hadn't tried on this brand before and I felt like there were stylish options (platform combat boots, black booties, etc) in addition to the more sensible options. These shoes are expensive but intended for folks that will keep them for a long time. It was an entirely pleasant experience even if I didn't buy shoes.”

She expertly walked my wife through some “shoe secrets” to enhance her comfort (not to suggest Allbirds aren’t already exceedingly comfortable) and with that increased our “ring” at the till. My Tree Pipers are incredibly comfortable and stylish and my wife’s Tree Breezers are beautiful! All in all it is an excellent location with great sales staff. All of the products are represented and there is no “hard selling”. We have numerous pairs of shoes as well as hats, clothing & socks! Great products, great store, exceptional staff! “For years I ordered my athletic shoes from Zappos. It went something like this: Order. Return. Order. Return. Repeat................until I moved to this area and discovered Sole Perfection. I have a foot injury from a bike accident six years ago and have pretty much constant pain in my left foot. At Sole Perfection I explained the issue to Gadi, who listened intently and brought out shoes he thought would be helpful. Bingo! I left the store without the foot pain! “Being handicapped finding these arch fit that I could modify was nice. Got a two for half off so ended up paying $67.50 a pair. Not a great deal at the time but not bad either. Now after a year of every day use, my right insole has lost some of its support. Most of my weight comes down crooked on my right. So broke out my second pair. Looking at these year old shoes I can't barely find a mark anywhere and there is no explanation why my right sole has not worn more on the outside. Cannot remember a better quality shoe than these. Now a year later this is a phenomenal deal. Go Sketchers.”
