“A great store, anything and everything modern you will find here. By modern, I mean the comic books. If you are looking for older comic books you won't find them here however, loooots of modern and up to date comic books available and plenty of other books as well. DnD / Pathfinder merchandise and a good selection of dice. Good collection of MTG and others sold here and some single cards are in showcases if you want to buy some goodies to beef up your deck. Lots of board games here so if you want an awesome game for a gathering / party, give these guys a chance. The friendly staff made me feel welcome and spend as much time going through their store which is always an A+ in my book. Come on by and support our local comic book stores wherever they may be! ?”

“This place was such an amazing experience! The man that worked there was friendly and made me feel like I was at home. He also made sure I got to know part of my heritage more which made me feel so emotional in the good kind of sense. I would visit here everyday if I lived in that city.”

“Ada's is such a hidden gem in north cap hill! I've been several times and have always enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. It's such a good place to go when you want to wind down and take yourself on a solo date. With that said, I have also seen people bring their laptops and study here! I remember liking their sweet cream latte ($7) but I had to continuously mix the foam that kept settling on top! They are also one of the few places I know that are tip-free which is really cool. There is such a good selection of books but every time I come here I have slowly made my way through The Cruel Prince! If you're stuck in a reading rut, definitely pick up this book or browse the rest of the cafe :)”

“What a phenomenal bookstore. This is such a hidden gem located in the Redmond Town Center. From the awesome employee picks to the incredibly robust children's section, this little spot has it all. The amount of books they can fit into this space is amazing, and I'm always finding something new that I didn't even know I was looking for! The prices of the books are basic MSRP. They even offer a cool reward card that gives you $20 in credit after a certain amount of purchases. Overall, if you are looking to pick up your next good read and want to support local businesses, check out Brick & Morter Books. You will enjoy every minute of it!”

“This is a great place to visit, especially with kids. You can learn about watersheds, riparian zones and indigenous plant life. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful elevated walk through the forest. You feel like you're in the middle of the woods. It's a great escape from the concrete jungle. I suggest becoming a member and visiting all year to see the changes.”

“I love this book store. I try to visit once a week. I buy something at least once a month. I'll admit I check prices against amazon but if there price is even close I'll buy the book from them. We absolutely must support small book story. Our lives as we know it depend on it.”

“Hands down one of the best spirituality bookshops in Seattle. Wide range of material well organized. Linda and Greg are warm and welcoming. I've been patronizing Quest since high school twenty years ago, and have lost track of the hours I've spent just hanging out and talking with these wonderful people.”

“Amazing little theater with super friendly staff and comfy seats. Only about 50 seats though, so I’d recommend buying tickets ahead of time. So far I’ve seen two films here, and I plan to keep coming back.”

“I always appreciate the attentive help from the staff here and the good deals on curriculum and books. The seating area provides a welcome place to take a deeper look before finalizing purchases. I highly recommend stopping in for your homeschool needs and for general book-buying as well. Consignors accrue credit towards your own purchases. “Lots of great stuff to buy and super helpful and knowledgeable staff. I needed to buy some binoculars and the staff spent over 15 minutes with me trying out a couple pairs and patiently explaining the differences. Great cause, great shop, great staff!”

“Such a sweet store, family-owned going back to the 70s. The vintage decor and art is a fitting backdrop for the old-timey cards, stationary, and prints. Thanks!!”

“I was hoping to find some retro toys. What I found was a big variety of puzzles, madlibs, stuffed animals, and many other toys. There was an employee playing poke man with a little kid and teaching him strategy. I was greeted as soon as I walked in.”

“Excellent book store! The store is well laid out and a nice option at the crossroads mall. I have been to several B &N and this one is top tier. Store is clean, staff is friendly and of course as a book lover, you get it all here. Definitely will be back and while there isn't a Starbucks in the store, there are pretty good options around the mall.”

“Shopping at this location is always something I enjoy because it's two stories of books! I will say engagement wise this location has had by far the most helpful staff. I had at least three different employees ask if I needed help and one checked in on me again to make sure I was doing okay and gave recommendations as well based on what I was looking at.”

“I've visited Magus since undergrad and their selection is unmatched. I always find great copies of books for myself and for others. During the shut down they had mailed me a few titles that my then newborn and I still enjoy. Recently revisited, while the UW students were on break, and found more excellent kid titles for both my kid and a friend's baby shower. Throughout the years, I have always been impressed by their selection and quality of used titles. They don't buy books everyday. If you're interested in selling back I recommend calling to check when they are buying books.”

“Very cute independent bookstore, with an extremely knowledgeable and well-read owner. Every book I mentioned, he had read or knew about! That’s impressive! (Granted, I’m more “main stream” in my book selections, but still). There are some new releases available, with a large selection of gentle used in every genre imaginable. Shelves are not super well organized, but I think it adds to the charm and feels more like a treasure hunt. If you can’t find the title you are looking for, it can easily be ordered for you. Book Tree will be a place I visit often.”

“There's nothing better than wandering around a bookstore. Although I'm not a student, this is a great bookstore to visit for their book recommendations and occasional deals. I like their "bargain books" as they do often have some popular titles at a great price. I was here to go to Boona Boona cafe. I saw their cute typewriter set up so you can see how it was back in the day! Checkout was a breeze and there's a parking lot in the back which is a huge plus because finding parking on the Ave is not always easy.”

“I like B&N because I'm able to purchase books that I can't get at the library in a timely manner, and they have the latest books and comics that my kid loves. The kids section is well stocked, and there is even a little play table with large legos for the smaller ones to play with. There are also chairs in the kids section. The B&N has an attached Starbucks, which makes it super convenient to get a drink or snack. There's also seating and a small magazine rack near the Starbucks. As with most B&N bookstores, this one has cards, some stationary items, calendars, planners, and a nice puzzle and kids section. The manga section is also quite impressive! We upgraded our membership, and it is great! We still get our discount, we received a nice heavy duty book bag for free, and a coupon for $5 (or maybe it was $10) off the next purchase.”
