“We had our wedding at the Lairmont this past Friday and everything was wonderful. Hope, Anna Beth, and DJ were all so very helpful with any questions I had leading up to the day. The onsite supervisor, Serene, and house manager, Simon, were also very helpful day of as well. Although the snow made things a little tougher, we were all able to power through and make everything work out. There was staff to help clear pathways and direct parking for this winter event!Thank you again so much!”

“Firehouse has a super pleasant atmosphere inside and out, plus a very pleasant staff. Inside is a wood burning fireplace usually kept going in colder weather. Outside is an amazing sycamore tree which has been allowed to spread its branches: if the Buddha had lived in Bellingham this is the tree under which he would have been enlightened. A downside on the inside is that space is limited, and it can get crowded.The espresso drinks are good, not great. The menu is limited and neither inspired nor inspiring. Too, there is no way to find out what the day''s offering is either by internet or my phone.”

“I have been here in the afternoon on a weekday and on a Saturday night. They had two DJ's spinnjng 90's hip hop, which was awesome! Great atmosphere and friendly staff.”

“We hit this place up on our way back to Canada from Oregon. It was absolute genuine & pure fun! The best part about it was the incredible staff. So friendly & helpful. From the girl fitting our shoes for us, to the perky bartender asking us for ID to the guy with the best mullet ever giving us bowling tips & cheering us on. It was an absolutely refreshing experience. Thank you!”

I've been dancing here for off and on for 5 years and my experience here has always been positive. It's a safe and welcome space and I am so grateful for what it brings to our community.”

“One of the nicer hotels in the area. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, and the laundry room is free! Pool and hot tub are kept clean and always stocked with towels. The bar/restaurant area has good food and drinks and is affordable! I definitely recommend it.Food & drinks: Great bar area with good food and drinks! Very affordable.Noteworthy details: The area feels safe, compared to others. Walking distance to grocery stores and other restaurants.”

“We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. My husband and I were travelling for personal business around a death in our family. Their hotel is welcoming, clean, and was the perfect place to rest during a difficult journey. The room has a nice sitting area, a work station and separate powder room and shower room which is especially convenient. It feels updated and well kept throughout.We enjoyed food and drinks at the bar in the lobby where the seating was comfortable and the atmosphere was relaxing. We were happily amazed with the quality of the food! Good portions, well presented and delicious. The staff were attentive and we felt well cared for.We had one item we did not care for during our stay and when we mentioned it, the manager very quickly fixed it for us. Classy and professional. We couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!Five stars.”

“For 60 dollars more, you can escape the low quality bed bug motels nearby. Absolutely worth it. Walking inside, it smells and looks great. Customer service was on point the whole stay. The rooms are kept clean, but there was one stray hair on the bathroom door and a few things looked aged, but that was all minor to me.”
