Grocery Stores in Belfair, WA

“I mean it's a gas station. It's in the far corner of the Safeway parking lot kind of cramped but functional. We go to Safeway gas stations because we get the points. And the points are worth it!”

“There was an older woman ahead of me in the checkout line, and from the looks of it, I could tell it was gonna take a bit longer for her to finish up. The checker scanning her groceries also was moving a little slow, so I thought I would go back and grab some Oreos with the time I had (there was no one in line behind me). Well, I ran back and forth through the store looking for Oreos, but every 30 seconds or so I peaked at the lady in front of me checking out, just to check whether or not she was done.

Maybe they don’t carry them there, but I never could find the Oreos so I went back to the line I was in. Well, the lady checker asked me if the groceries on the belt were mine, to which I replied yes; she then tells me she was just about to put all my groceries back because she didn’t know where I was. I didn’t want to be rude, but jeez lady, I was trying to be patient while you spent 10 minutes checking out one customer. I just didn’t like the way she said it to me, I guess. I was also checking back every other moment to ensure I wasn’t holding anyone up.

But beside that, the selection at this Safeway is a little off; everyday items are very expensive and they don’t see to carry stuff like Gatorade or Powerade—if they do, I can’t find them.

Also, there is absolutely not reason in 2024 not to have shopping baskets available. That’s absolutely asinine. Also, they don’t appear to have a spot for shopping carts inside the store, they keep them outside.”

“This store is very nice, great selection of cheeses and Boars Head deli which is awesome. Sushi, fresh baked goods and friendly staff. I was at self check and couldn't get the rewards to work so Colleen helped me out and showed me how to do it, also how to use it at the gas pump. Thanks so much for the help Colleen.”

“People are friendly prices are through the freaking roof for the quality of merchandise even compared to Safeway their prices are really high Safeway is high enough. In the quality of food not any better. There is the truth. The only other good thing about it is for points on gas. Kroger who actually owns QFC Is trying to buy Albertsons Which means that they would actually have 90% of the produce market in the nation, My friends is very alarming.”

“A little pricey on some things, but being the only store for miles gives them that option. Otherwise the cashier was very friendly and the store had a great old school vibe with the old gas pumps and the old fire truck out back.”

“Love this stores hours! It's the ONLY Store and gas station/store that's open After Midnight in this town Period! Ohh and the cashier ladies that's been on the clock when I've bought something, have been very kind and a few have been a nice familiar face ? which is always nice! Always good vibes there and The Best Icee Drinks There! Frazzle if you don't know about them?! You're Seriously Missing Out Big time!! Definitely a Dang well spent couple of dollars for sure ??? Now, the only downfall to Me would have to be the high prices for most things in there. Yes inflation screwed every store Everywhere, but their prices been a little steep Before this stupid inflation hit Everywhere. Other than that though...... This my favorite store when I'm in town. Not for gas lol just my smokes sometimes and my snackies!!”

“Happy Hollow is a helpful stop along SR106. They carry a selection of grocery items so that you don't have to drive all the way to town for, say, pepper or ice cream, coffee creamer and the like. You can also fill up for gas for your boat gas cans here. Very helpful stop. Very friendly owners.”
