This is a good plan until you're leaving town and your prescriptions haven't arrived like promised. Thank goodness for Brian at Rite Aid. He sat on hold with our insurance company while an override was authorized and filled our very important prescription. Makes me reconsider saving those few dollars and choosing to shop local instead!”

253 High School Rd NE, Bainbridge Island“Hi. There are lots of negative reviews here but I need to put this in perspective. Pharmacy's are going under (Rite Aid and soon Walgreens on HS road). Walgreens had to bring in an entire team from Bremerton to staff the Pharmacy as no one local is available any longer to staff it. These are highly educated and trained people under an intense amount of stress. I moved to BI from Brooklyn as my wife is from here and let me tell you based on my experience in NY, the staff at the Safeway pharmacy work hard, they care, are kind and try to do their best with the staff cards they are dealt. It's not easy. Especially now with RSV flooding the local Urgent Care center and hospitals with most scripts being sent to the three pharmacy's I mention above. If Walgreens folds like Rite Aid, Safeway and the Bainbridge Island Community Pharmacy will be the only pharmacy on BI. Be careful for what you wish for, as everyone on BI will soon need to head to Polsbou for their scripts.”
“Kelly working 4/7/24 an after dinner shift on Sunday was the most helpful employee I've encountered in a very long time and should be promoted. He helped me find a hard to find item but he didn't get much help from the Walgreens site he used with no aisle number it's not helpful. He had lots to do restocking, cashier, helping customers doing it all. an elderly women with the rest of her bill before I had my own wallet out. When I asked if I could reimburse him he said it's again store policy.”

“Amazing staff I know they work super hard for their customers. I shop here all the time and I feel like I'm part of the family. The only issue is how customers are super rude to the employees everyday. Like today I came to shop and the pharmacy was closed because the pharmacist couldn't make it to work due to the snow weather. I heard every customers yelling at every single employee there like it was there fault, or when they were out of home covid tests customers were going crazy. The workers there help everyone out as much as they can. It's tuff times but really people got to treat other people with respect.”
“Was ecstatic to move over from the disaster known as Safeway Pharmacy. Justin and his staff are always friendly and professional, and they go the extra mile to work with the doctors' offices and secure renewal/refill authorizations.”
