“I mainly take my car here for parts replacement as they have a good, local reputation. This time it was my water pump that had worn out bearings which unfortunately, caused damage to the serpentine belt that I had just replaced only 3 weeks ago. No sales pitch, no deceptions that I can detect and they call me when they figure out what's wrong. During the phone call they also give me an estimate which doesn't change for the worse when I pay for the work done. I appreciate that 100%.”

“My husband and I, minus our cell phones (never again), ended up here after our truck broke down a few blocks away. The three staff members on the job went above and beyond to help us call for a tow, tried to get me a cab home and ended up using one of their own Uber accounts to request a ride for me. Wow. Who does this nowadays? Thanks, guys. You saved the day. We'll be back for some gas.”

“Newest station in town, opened during the pandemic. Convenient location just as the bypass approaches Richmond Road. Clean station with helpful employees and plenty of fuel pumps. I have never had to wait for gas at this store. Gas prices tend to be competitive ($2.91/regular unleaded on 7-9-21). Masks are not required although store employees are wearing them inside. Convenient air and water pumps as well as car wash and vacuum station next door.”

“1st review aroynd september 23: 5 stars with 1st 17 pics.Updated review november: 4 stars. the pumps rarely have security stickers or if they do they look tampered on them and there's little to no water in the window wash buckets. I've gone there multiple times and it's the same thing. Also the inside smells like grease. Staff is nice though. Last 2 photos go with the new updated review.”

“Nice clean store. The staff always seems attentive here. My husband makes me stop here all the time for the Mac and cheese. Delicious and worth the 5-10 minute wait. They also have good milk shakes. I don’t think I have ever even gotten gas here. It’s like a hole in the wall little deli. Must stop by if you are in the area.”

“Decent 7-11 in ideal location on Richmond Road in the heart of Williamsburg. Never the best price on gas in town, but never outrageous either. It was $2.03/gallon for regular unleaded on 10-10-20. The convenience store has the usual 7-11 fare; a bit smaller than some shops in the area. Cashier was friendly and all CDC and Virginia state guidelines were being followed concerning COVID-19.”

“I really wanted to give 5 stars but I couldn't. My husband and I are senior citizens and we have a son who attends the college here. His car was hand washed back in August and was in need of a good washing ---especially the tire rims. Someone at the Premium Outlet suggested that we try the drive through wash at the Shell station on Richmond Road. We did. We lived in NY, CT and NJ and have used car washes in other states. So after we paid, we put the car in neutral but nothing happened. We went to speak with the attendant who told us to put the car in park and upgraded us from the $12 we paid to a $15 job. Which we though was VERY nice! For the most part the car looked very clean EXCEPT for green spots throughout the car and the tire rims were filthy. I immediately went into our son's apartment and sprayed windex and tried to wipe the rusty stains off. If I did go again to this car wash I would soap and scrub the tire rims first and go through this car wash for a rinse.”

“I just moved here to Virginia 2 year’s ago I enjoy coming to your store I love having mike back he is a good man with a great personality he needs to stay on the 2 Ed shift. In the morning on the way to work some young girl name Brittany she can be nice sometimes she needs to work on how to speed up in the mornings don’t like her to much she can have an attitude ! some short lady has long gray hair and another short lady skinny her name is Tonya she is very nice and helpful she needs to work more on your first shifts they are both really keepers on your first shift take that girl Brittany off the front line she is not made for the front line at all . On the way back home on your last shift there is a very beautiful woman name Venus she cleans really good and really fast on front line on your last shift she is the only one who keeps your store clean I want her number so she can clean my house she always has a smile on her face and a beautiful personality she needs to be a trainer I love the fact she is a volunteer EMT and knows her stuff because I seen her in her uniform and Venus knows Spanish and sign language . I also love your other employees Jenie she is very beautiful and helpful loves to smile on 2 Ed shift Kim and The other manger she is a lady they are both nice and helpful on your last shift at night the man AJ I really like him he is a keeper you should make him a manger for night shift he gets stuff done fast and he has a smile everytime also the lady ANN she is a sweetie and very helpful too !!!! The worse is you have to let that other woman go she so mean all the time and she can’t clean at all she is short has red hair don’t know her name somebody told me her name was Kayla she needs to learn to be nice and come off the front line last night on August 29 th, 2020 My daughter and her friend ask for a pizza she said to us I’m not cooking this late it was only 10:30 pm she is bad news she needs to be fired other then that I love this store !!!! “Years ago Shell was a Premium Gas and service retailer. In the 70's when I attended a small private school, Shell had published a series of pamphlet type of books on driving safety, extending gas milage, and other helpful driving aids that were used as a large part of my "Drivers Ed" curriculum. But then through the late 80's and 90's Shell oil fell out of favor.I related that story to say this. Since the Biden administration has implemented his whack environmental programs and both the government and the oil companies have declared war on the American public, I have had trouble finding fuel that my circa 1990's truck will burn and provide adequate power and decent fuel milage. I stopped at this Shell to get gas for the ride home, hopefully without feeling like I threw my money away.I got a few gallons to get me back to where I could get some non-ethanol fuel which has been the only thing my truck likes since the oil companies have dosed the ethanol through the roof. I was pleasantly surprised. The gas I got at this Shell was the first "Regular" gas I have bought in over four months that smelled like gasoline rather than Anheuser-Busch, it was still designated, "contains 10% Ethanol" on the pump, rather than "may contain Ethanol" like most of their competitors, and my truck, a pre flex fuel vehicle burned it and didn't give me any of the problems I have encountered as of late with competitors fuel that supposedly only contains 10% Ethanol.I will definitely patronize this Shell station again when in Williamsburg.”

“I was surprised that this Shell wasn't on the map! This shell is in a very convienent area off of Richmond Rd. The guy being the counter which I assume was the manager or owner was informative and kind. All of their gas pumps work and the outside of the building looks historic which is a pretty cool look! If I'm back in the area soon and need gas I'll certainly be back :)”

BP gas prices are comparable to other discount stations in town. 12 functioning pumps were open September 2021 with no wait time. If you purchase a car wash, there is an extra 20 cents off per gallon. Dunkin also co-located here with drive thru.”

It is conveniently located right next to Monticello Marketplace. Air for tires, vacuum machine, ice, and propane all available on site. Cashier in store was friendly and helpful.”
