They stay busy and it’s hard to get an appointment it’s worth the wait. we have been a customer of the shop for a few years now and I have recommended other family members who share the same experience. Very professional very informed and willing to go above and beyond to help a customer out. We had a truck and turns out the transmission control module was discontinued and needed to be replaced, our truck sat there for a year due to AC Delco – GM issues, but they maintained communication with us every step of the way. “We picked up a nail on our way to a recent conference in Williamsburg. A major storm was predicted and we wanted to fix the tire before the rain and wind arrived. Not knowing who to call, we first tried our luck at a well-known shop only to find out they couldn't take care of us for a couple of days. Thankfully, we discovered Tire Choice Auto Service on our way out of the parking lot. The staff was super helpful and took care of us right away. As we visited with other customers, it was clear that the shop is well-respected by locals. The repair was quickly made, and they wished us well! It is rare these days to find a service provider who makes such an effort to care for their customers. Wish we could add one more star to the review.”

They treat all their customers with respect and dignity. That goes a long way in this day and age. It doesn't matter the vehicle they work on, old or new, you will be treated fairly. “My wife's car was making an alarming wining noise. After much researching I thought that it could be an electrical power steering issue, which something that is unfamiliar to me. An expensive fix. My wife took her car to Howard Motor Corp. They found that it was simply the serpentine belt and tensioner. A much less expensive fix. Even though I'm a little embarrassed that I missed what should have been obvious I'm happy that I told my wife that I'm not really sure what the problem was. Howard Motor Corp has a good local reputation as an honest car repair shop. Today, they showed me why they have that reputation.”

The service was excellent and the people that work there are so kind, empathic, and work hard in a timely manner. I am going to make this my new go to place for all my car repairs needs. “I've never had a bad experience here. Billy was my service manager in the early 2000 with my Eclipse, then I somehow found him again at Casey's Toyota when I bought my Camry. After my warranty expired on my Camry, through the suggestion of my neighbor, I went to Carroll's and as fate would have it, Billy was once again, my service manager. After purchasing my new Highlander, I resumed service at Casey's due to the warranty. However, after numerous high expense charges from Casey's, I got smart again and came back to Carroll's. I told Billy, Casey's gave me a list of four items needing to be done on my car, totaling almost $4K. Billy looked it over and told me what I really need is only two of those items, and the cost was less than $300. “I typically struggle finding good places to take my cars. I started my working life as a mechanic years ago and still do the majority of my own work but some things (AC, Alignments and just-don't-have-time-stuff) I take places. I know I am picky, I hate finding things like stripped or boken bolts after I take a car somewhere. I also hate the needless sale of things I don't need. Let me say these guys are awesome.This is my second time at Impact Auto:First time was AC repair I think I was out the door for around $200. I couldn't believe it! ... I felt sure I would get a $500 charge.Second time was alignment, I took the car there after replacing ball joints, etc. I was a bit worried becuase the car actually went down the road straight and seemed fine and I kinda thought I might get it back, I hate to say it, maybe worse, with a slight pull or something. However, was concerned about the tires may wear uneven. - So anyway, I pick up the car after the work was complete, get in the car and leave, steering wheel is now absolutely perfectly straight (wasn't before). “We have a veloster that we discovered the hard way that the mechanical key was never cut from the factory. When the battery died we couldn't get in to the car. Kevin in the service department was able to get the key cut at no charge. Not sure how the key wasn't cut when new but we purchased the car used and it didn't come from this dealership. Excellent customer service!”
“Took my car to get the window trim replaced as the sun had cracked it. I was quoted a price of $50 for labor for 30 minutes. When I took my car to Ebby's from the time I gave my keys to the lady who was handling to the time someone came back and gave me the keys, at most it was 10 minutes. This means I was charged $50 for a job that took less than 10 minutes. As my husband had the same job done on his car it would appear he was overcharged as well. My husband was told it would take half a day so he got a rental car so he could go to work. Given that the job is easy and quick why was he told this. He could have gone to the store and waited for a few minutes, then gone to work and saved not only the rental fee but the excessive labor fee. While I appreciate that the job was done quickly, I would have appreciated a more accurate labor cost.”

“Wonderful experience with AAA Car Care. My new Tesla needed a tire rotation. Richmond Tesla is an hour away. AAA was faster than expected and able to do the work. They indicated they can replace the tires when the time comes and align the tires if needed. I did provide the lifting pucks and they were returned.”

“Crows Garage is an awesome shop. Straight forward, Very reasonable priced. All the technicians and state inspectors are very outstanding at their jobs. I would give it 10 stars but it will only allow me 5. It's 06/13/2022. So this is a revised update. I see a lot of negativity about them failing for inspections. As a state inspector from a different shop I can tell you that they are completely correct. Your turn signals have to be amber in the front, amber or red in the rear. There are certain things that I've read that Y'all have said that I would fail as well. Do you want a safe car or not? A rear turn signal flashing white could be mistaken for a reverse light. They follow the law and so do I. If in doubt after a rejection sticker take it to the state police and they will inspect it and tell you the same thing.”
