“They did a scan of my feet and of my walking pattern. That was used to recommend shoes which were assessed to see if they provided the correct support for me. Once the support level was established the clerk brought out several pairs for me to try till I found the perfect shoe for me.”
“Looking for boots, advice about best boots for you and a good conversation? Stop by Acredale. Gina and her crew always make us feel like family. Today I purchased my 2nd and 3rd pair of boots from them. The fiance finally found the perfect pair for himself. His size 14 wide shoe size ended up fitting comfortably in a size 15 Ariat. Being a size 12 wide isn't easy for me, but they make it feel easy. Gina knows the inventory like the back of her hand, and everyone is quick to help find the perfect pair for you. They also carry a variety of other fun western accessories. I was loving this wide white and brown belt.

“The Chesapeake store, located in Greenbriar Mall, is hands up my new favorite shoe store. The store is clean, the staff is pleasant and this is the place if you like retro or hard to find shoes. on top of that, both times I received excellent suggestions from the staff. “My friend suggested we stop in here while out on a shopping trip nearby and boy am I glad she did! It's by The Bagel Baker shop. I had no idea it was here. If you've been to Monkee's this is sort'of like that boutique but less pretentious and more affordable. They had a great range of items in the store - shorts, jeans, dresses, sweaters and accessories. Some really cute jewelry and other items as well as a few shoes. It's an adorable boutique with a unisex bathroom in back and two fitting rooms. Friendly staff greeted and helped us. I saw some adorable everyday pieces and tunics as well as some holiday party dresses and sweaters! I will def be back.”

Well-stocked with much more than just a few On Clouds - they have several recognizable running shoe brands (Brooks and Hoka) as well as a ton of fashionable ladies sandals, boots, and fashion shoes. Some beautiful European leather fashion brands as well.
There is a comfy couch and multiple places for you to sit and try on as well as a small drink/coffee bar to help yourself.

“I came for my sons first birthday to do the pay your age birthday bear and it was such a fun experience! The staff here were all so incredibly friendly! They tried entertaining my little guy when he was getting fussy waiting in line and even was thoughtful enough to bring my stroller into the store that I had parked out front in the mall to make sure no one took it.”

“After a foot injury, my doctor told me to buy New Balance sneakers. I haven't worn sneakers in thirty years. I got the wrong ones. They have a guarantee. I took them up on it and tried on virtually every style in my size. Found a pair that is much more comfortable. What I found amazing was that the young man who worked there was extremely knowledgeable and ever so nice. They took my first pair back and will donate them. Someone will get a free pair of gently used shoes. I'll be back in six months for a new pair.”
“I went into Journey's a couple days ago just to look at some shoes for Christmas. Icky was the employee that helped ne the whole time. At first I thought her name was a little silly but she was a great help and amazing. I didn't expect to buy more than one pair of shoes but I came out with shoes for me and my mom, a pair of socks, and some shoe protection/cleaner, I think it was called creep or crept (I can't remember.). Overall I loved my experience there and would love to give my personal thanks to Icky. She was very helpful.”

Then he helped fit me, offering suggestions and looking in his sale stock for bargins. I loved his openness and talking about his family business and showing he cared about his customers. “Based on my doctor’s recommendation, I worked with Mike the manager at Running Etc. to address my Achilles tendon pain. Mike was so knowledgeable and was laser focused on watching how my feet reacted to different arches in the shoes. He explained what was happening with my feet and how to fix it. He even showed me with a video. I followed his recommendation and within days, I was able to run again. I suspect all the employees there are as helpful- but I have to recommend Mike because I felt he went above and beyond. The shoes were reasonably priced, too, which was shocking. I highly recommend this store.”
