“Ms. Martha at passport services was such a refreshing experience. She is knowledgeable, personable and professional. She definitely leaves a mark on you with her kindness. My mom & I talked about how pleasant she was almost all day today. The USPS has a gem with her.”

“Wow! What a surprise. It's larger than I thought. I've been driving past for years but needed something nearby today and specifically needed a few plants and some dirt for a project so decided I was coming. I found tons of home decor and garden items inside the small shop as well as a full USPS store open 9-5 Monday-Friday. What?! Andrea was amazing. She helped so much and was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the plants inside and how to care for them. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for and made it super easy. She also helped us get the right potting soil mix and some tips. Signed up for a rewards account which provides coupons, in-store sales and also some points annually to use in store based on spend. What's not to love?! This may be a new garden fav.”

“I didn't even know this location was here! It's probably like that for most people so we found it on GPS and snuck over to mail out some return packages about 15 minutes before they were set to close. A few other cars in the parking lot but no one in line inside and the friendly lady behind the counter easily scanned and took the items with a good attitude. Small inside and the building is old - but it's got a drop box for packages around back you can use and is probably going to be my new go-to for mailing packages in the area as the Princess Anne location is very crowded with rude staff!”

“I love this place. A real hidden gem, and because it's relatively unknown, usually never super busy. Always friendly staff and great service, I have a LOT of respect for our postal workers as the USPS doesn't get treated all that well by Congress and our politicians. When I thing of everything that the USPS has done for me personally over many decades, they are heros. In any case, this particular store is one of my all time favorites. Keep in mind that sometimes it can be difficult to find a parking spot near the front of the store, but there are tons of parking in the general vicinity, even if not the easiest to navigate (and not the fault of the USPS!). Highly recommended.”

“Went to the Columbus Street location to mail a package during mid day hours. It was quite busy, AC unit was being replaced, however I had zero issues and received excellent service from Nakia. I was greeted promptly and my questions answered. The older gentleman working at the next counter was also friendly!”

“This post office is located what one might call in the middle of nowhere, but it is located along Princess Anne Rd. at the southern end of Virginia Beach. From that location, it is about 8 miles from the North Carolina border. When you look at the outside of the place, it looks dated. Although it looks dated, it's not as noticeable as such inside. This post office is small and doesn't have a drive through. Parking is also fairly limited. However, due to the location of the post office, it's usually not that busy. They do close for a lunch break during the day. I can get in and out of here faster than other post offices in the city (such as at the Courthouse or Lynnhaven Pkwy). On this most recent visit, I came in to have a package delivered. After talking with the representative there, she was able to help me pick the best option for shipping. Since I was the only one in there, it was a very personable experience that is rare to find anywhere these days. Overall, this is a nice post office to come to if you don't want to have to worry about lines and waits. Sure, the drive may be a little while for some, but you may wait longer at other post office locations than it is to drive back and forth to this post office. If you are down in the southern part of Virginia Beach and need to go to a post office, this is your place to go.”

“I received excellent service above and beyond the call of duty from an employee at this post office yesterday. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name to recognize her, but she took the time to sort out a mailing directed to the IRS, which failed in its responsibility to provide a proper return envelope for a large submission of documents that it requested. (Shame on the IRS, which could have requested an online submission, and kudos to this Postal Service employee.)”

“Just got off the phone inquiring about a package that I need. There is a tracker inside and so I was wondering what the hold up was at it had been sitting for a couple days at the facility. The gentleman I spoke to not only showed great customer service but provided a very valid explanation to why there was a delay. It goes to show when you speak to someone like they are human and with understanding you'll get treated like one as well. He even offered to go a little above and beyond in getting my package to me sooner and I appreciate the kind gesture.”

“This post office is on a military base. The guard on duty was very polite and got me turned around. So if you are a civilian, save yourself a Google headache, and don't use this facility.”

“I had to pick up live insects here instead of my regular closest customer service center... this isn't a customer service center so I'm not surprised about having higher expectations. For my shipment, I got a call, I went there with my shipping #, showed ID, and was out the door in <5 min.”

“I was at this location a few weeks ago to send a package to my husband who is in the Navy overseas. I really appreciated the help filling out the forms. Chappell(SP?) was an immense help. He was very kind and patient. He and his fellow co-worker moved through the line very fast.”

“Pretty fast service and kind lady. I was mailing in my passport renewal, and I had forgot to date my check which I already turned in earlier in the day. I came back around 3 hours later after realizing my mistake, the lady helped me locate and open my envelope so I could date my check and helped me tape it back up without any fuss.”

“I know that the postal service is under a lot of stress right now but we as the front end clerks do our best to serve the public, but yes I do think the customers need to have more patients when it comes to what they need, I also feel the public need more education on the services that we can give I feel due to Covid and having to be shut in people have forgotten how to do simple things like mailing a letter or simply being respectful or even curtious”

“I love this Post Office, the Staff here is wonderful always smiling and welcoming. Yes, sometimes you have to wait, but they will get to you. I have met some of the best people waiting in line. I hate that I am moving out of the area, wish me luck at my next Post Office.”
