A technician broke my middle console while searching for the wheel lock key. The shop denied responsibility and refused to share any video footage of the incident, claiming they reviewed the cameras and the technician wasn't at fault. However, the technician himself admitted to breaking it and even apologized, saying he could fix it. Despite this, the manager, Melissa, dismissed his apology, saying he was only sympathizing because I was having a bad day. I strongly recommend against visiting this place. The quality of service has drastically declined over the past five years. Unlike here, Firestone takes responsibility if they make a mistake. I have been going to this location for quite a while, but this is the 3rd incident in the past 2 years. They need to bring the old representatives back.

After completing the scheduled work on my car, they said the car was good to go and sent me on my way. When I arrived home and had a chance to review their "25 Point Inspection" sheet, I noticed the technician had written a comment: "Nail in front passenger tire. Patchable." What's the problem, you ask? This was the first time I was learning about it... after they told me the car was in good shape and ready to drive home. No associate ever verbally notified me about the nail in the tire or asked me if I'd like it repaired while the car was already there (I'd have accepted, by the way, so that would have even been an extra service for them to provide). Now I have to rush to get my vehicle to a tire repair shop to address the leak. Unfortunately, I am not sure I can trust VA Tire & Auto anymore.

They did the work I came in for, but when it came to communicating about other issues (one I asked them to look at, one they noticed), it was hard to get clear explanations and answers. I left feeling uncertain about how well their mechanic is communicating with the front desk and how much is getting lost. When I expressed my concerns I basically got a shrug from the guy at the desk.
Ugh it got worse. They did an alignment for me yesterday and *then* told me that I need axle work which they failed to mention will require ANOTHER $120 alignment -- they left it off the estimate entirely, and I had to be told by a mechanic at another VA Tire & Auto location. I called back to ask about this, and they said it oops it would have to be aligned again. I pushed because they just did one, and THEN they said they're 70% sure that the alignment warranty would cover this. I had to ask that they find out for certain. They said they'd have to ask the manager when she's back and call me back. It should not be this hard to get complete answers from a good shop.

What a bunch of unprofessional clowns! I took my vehicle in for a state inspection and it took over a half hour when it was the only vehicle being inspected. I have never had an inspection take so long. You line your car up at a gas station and then go across the parking lot to a separate garage to provide your information to the service desk. I think my service writer was Dennis, but I'm not 100% sure because 2/3 of the service writers didn't have names on their shirts. He took my information and then about 10-15 minutes later another service writer called me up to take the same information. Turns out Dennis didn't send the info to the inspector so he could start the inspection. The entire time they were cracking jokes, talking about other employees (apparently Tyler walks really slow and arrived at work a minute before being late), and giggling like schoolgirls. When it came time to check out, Dennis, who had been gossiping with mystery service writer #2, was suddenly too busy with his computer to assist and pawned me off on his co-worker. I have never had an inspection take this long and I don't blame the inspector at all. This place needs adult supervision.

We made an appointment at this location last week and they didn’t get to our car until hours later and didn’t even complete the work. What’s the point of making an appointment if the timing isn’t honored? Also, level of incompetence was absurd. A screwdriver was just left in our engine?

I went there yesterday for routine could change they said need appointment and I made appointment for today at 12:30pm, today I went to drop my car and they said your appointment was made for not today but Friday. I insist that it was made for today and I can give u time until 5:00pm , you can do any time but was refused without any apology or courtesy. Finally I requested manager and he asked her from the front desk to come and I waited for 5 minutes but manager who was sitting in her cabin did not come to even see me. I am their neighbour and worked in the same plaza and have been coming to them from years.

I had an oil change there at the beginning of the month; one week later my husband realized there was a oil stain in our driveway where my car had been. I had just driven 6 hours away to the beach when he called. My dad checked it and said the oil pan plug wasn't tightened correctly and had I driven much further I would have blown my engine b/c there was little to no oil left. I have tried contacting VA Tire & Auto for refund ($97) at least 3 separate times and have never heard from anyone. DO NOT recommend.

If you do go here look over your bill thoroughly! There was an extra $100 added to my bill and when questioned it took a few minutes of back and forth until another worker came and had the manager fix it. In the photos you can see the phantom $100 added to the line item and the resolved bill.
They had replaced brake pads and rotors. 2 months later (3-4K miles) I took my car to another shop and they checked brakes and said they were 3/4 worn already! They said the pads were very cheap and wearing quickly.

Trust the negative reviews. No wonder there are so many people having terrible experiences with the employees here. AVOID this place at all costs. They do not honor appointment times and will make you wait for a few hours even if you show up on time. They will call you a few hours before your appointment and ask you to reschedule when it is convenient for them. Worst of all, they will not voluntarily refund deposits if you choose to cancel an appointment with them. Even the store manager said that she has no authority and has to contact directors. Just ridiculous business practice we are running here.
In summary, choose a tire place with better reviews. There are so many other great alternatives in this area, that offer exceptional customer service. Pass this place and save the headache.

Went to get a flat fixed on my jeep,they would not fix it,but instead Insisted I needed two new tires, and I had just got the state inspection done on the jeep. Totally disappointed. Not going there again

This place is awful now. It's a shame, because it used to be great. But the new owner has added in so much red tape that it takes a long time to get something simple done, like an oil change, and they somehow forget to let you know your car is ready, until you call them to ask for an eta. And they're super overcharging for stuff now.

Came in for a State inspection. The business is set up so you drop your car off by one buildings but go sign in and wait in another. I am unable to walk long distances easily and the technicianet us driver over to the check in buildin and go in. He came over and drove the car back himself then returned it to us. Great customer service!

I had a flat tire and needed a last minute appointment. They fit me in quickly and patched the tire without any issues. They also offer a free one way Lyft if you need it. Amazing customer service! Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Thanks!
