“Staff are wonderful. Patient, kind and friendly. We usually stay at Comfort Inns and they are a good, clean, safe bargain. But this location is shoe horned in and the building could definitely use some upgrades. The elevators are slow and one cannot use the stairs to first floor. So we had to wait for the elevator all the time, even though we stayed on the 2nd floor. Be aware, breakfast is only until 9 on weekdays. We will still stay in Comfort Inns in the future, but will probably look for a more walkable place in the future.Walkability: Not as nice as I’d like. We use metros and public transportation everywhere because it is easier, especially in a busy place like D.C. Our walk to the metro station was dicey. The sidewalk was there but not in good shape and LOTS of stairs. We decided to drive to the metro stop instead, but costs $5/day and lot is very full. Also one cannot walk to a nearby restaurant or store, so be prepared.”

“Rooms renovated, staff friendly.
Windows cannot be opened.

I found it bitter that all the hotels on our trip used disposable tableware and cutlery. What a waste generation. Also the selection at the breakfast buffet...you miss breads, cold cuts and cheese or even pure oatmeal.”

“Very clean room. AC was on in room when we arrived which I so appreciated. Everything worked. Bed was comfortable. Room was very large.

Mostly quiet except for a few sounds from interstate. We were in the room closest to the interstate though so I'm not sure all rooms would have this problem.

Hallways had some odd smells but you can tell they are actively trying to fix it. The room it's self did not smell. The room didn't have a bedside table on both sides. A bit annoying for a couple. You also have to request whatever plates, cups, dishes you may want.

Breakfast wasn't a typical continental breakfast but rather grab and go. Prepackaged muffins, oatmeal, a few bars.”

“I felt comfortable and safe. The customer service was amazing. Each hotel attendant that I interacted with was kind. The room decor was a bit antiquated but most important it was clean. I had a broken iron board with holes and a iron that released a white substance when I attempted to iron my business attire clothes. I went downstairs with the iron and the hotel attendant promptly had housekeeping bring me a brand new iron that worked perfectly. The gym had the basics- free weights, two treadmills and a peloton bike. There’s one washing machine and one dryer which work with quarters. Check out was quick and I received my receipt as an email.”

“I had a great experience. The people on the front desk were very kind and cooperative when they were needed and they have great house keepers and the place located in the center of market places. But their smoke alarm needs to be checked though. They have only two laundry and two dryers which are not enough.”

“We stayed one night after a difficult drive. Your front desk person Tameka (Sorry if not spelled correctly.) was fantastic and helped us with Grub Hub and other issues. Your bartender was equally helpful and served excellent cocktails that helped us forget the drive. We cannot recall her name. But these two people are stars.”

“Regularly having the opportunity to stay over many accommodations across and occasionally outside the country, and by no means a professional hotel reviewer and not a regular business traveler - but as a primarily pleasure and needs wanderer and every Joe and Jane needing good or excellent accommodations, I’ve developed as what I believe is a concise method for scoring the worthiness of each hotel visited. My criteria are as follows and the results are: 1) ease of access to and from public or private ground transportation [Score: 3.5]; 2) convenient and safe parking [Score: 4.5]; 3) access, accuracy and convenience of check in and check out [Score:4.5]; 4) atmosphere, ambience, public facilities, lounging areas and access to an office center and Wi-Fi access [Score:4.0]; 5) overall customer service - including but not limited to Hospitality, Support Services, Concierge knowledge, communication, attitude and demeanor of staff [Score:5.0]; 6) quality, cleanliness, value, convenience, amenities (i.e., ironing board, iron, TV, charging access, phone, et.al.) and comfort of rooms, beds, room safe and/or valet services [Score:4.0]; Taking all the aforementioned categories in a scale of 1 star to 5 stars with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best a hotel can be! This hotel is rated at 4.25. Most positive point(s) at this hotel is/are: really, really good guest service and convenience to downtown Springfield, retail, business centers and eating joints. Most negative points found here are: were not of consequence to note. My price to value to overall assessment: is extremely good!”

“I stayed at this hotel for a school trip to DC for 3 nights. I'll tell you how it was. After exploring DC I headed to the hotel with all my friends. Then we checked into the hotel. Shout out to Noah, Jackson and Rishik you guys are great roommates and even better friends. I brought ramen because I thought there was gonna be a microwave. There wasn't one. But the water was hotter than Rafeal Devers bat at the plate right now. (He's on a roll go Red Sox). My ramen was great. Then I took a look around the room. The bathroom was small and the sink wasn't even in it. Not that I care or anything. The beds were good and there was a table and chairs which was fire. There was a hole behind the beds but it wasn't a big deal.TV was also good but didn't have the Red Sox on. The phone was great for prank calling my friends in other rooms. I definitely used that phone over 100 times. I definitely didn't get more than 7 hours of sleep each night but I wasn't tired so it's a win-win. Breakfast was also provided. The eggs were watery, the waffles were soggy and the donuts tasted stale. But there was Frosted Flakes. There is no cereal better than Frosted Flakes. So breakfast was LIT. Overall, my trip to DC was great. I saw cool landmarks, went to the zoo and rode scooters. Even though DC was one of the best experiences I've had, this review is about the hotel. The hotel is a 3.5 stars which I mostly agree with. I've stayed at the Venetian in Las Vegas, the Boardwalk at Disney World and a hotel in Denali National Park. This hotel was not even close to being what those hotels were like. But whenever you visit a place, it's not how the place looks, it's about the experience you had and the people you were with.
