I want to make all customers and future customers know about the predatory ways of Capital One Credit Cards. Apparently I wasn't notified of my $39 membership fee in January and was then assessed a $25 past due fee plus interest. In February I was assessed $45 fee plus interest for non-payment. When I was sent a notice from Credit Karma that my credit score dropped 40 points, after having a perfect payment record for the last 10 years, I called Capital One. The young lady got the fee and interest removed for February, however they would not change my credit report nor remove the Jan charge. We are talking about $39 membership fee, for a card I don't use and have had for years. Why don't I use it, because the interest rate 28%. Capital One has no one to speak to except the one person I spoke to on the phone and no Sr manager to speak to. This is pathetic customer service. I have two bank accounts, another card with them and this is how they treat their customers. Oh and if you want to complain to their credit dispute department, you have to send all your personal identity information by US Mail for them to even review it. If you aren't getting the message about how much Capital One sucks, I hope you do now. Closing accounts just makes your credit score worse....

They need more staff. They only have tellers no management or anyone helping to open an account. Capital one needs to hire more staff. And also they said I can't open an account everything is done online. Why is there a physical bank if we can't do anything.

I walked inside the bank to pay my credit card bill the teller suggested to pay at the nearest ATM machine for cash payment. Machine wasn't able to accept the whole cash amount it gave a cash back then tried again. Two transactions made in the ATM machine but gave only one receipt. I asked Jose the guy who continued to operate the ATM to give me the receipt for the first transaction but Jose then even try to look what's the problem was. He insisted that I have the receipt even I told him it's only showing denomination note in a small paper how much money inserted in the machine. But he insisted that's a receipt. I left the bank and called capital one customer service if payment went through on my account to find out I still have a balance in my account. So, I returned the following day and talked to Jose again. Sure enough, He knows the problem why I came back. Jose is not apologetic at all! Tried to give me a reason and justify his actions. By the way, Jose is a very chatty guy who always loves to talk always try to have conversations in other language which is not funny at all! Jose is not professional and no respect In people's time.

I'm not thrilled at all not only with the changes they made at the branches, but the change they made to my account- without advising me first about this change. I have been a long-time customer and my account was rolled into this bank after they had bought out Chevy Chase. My account had a feature which provided for the reimbursement of other banks ATM fees even international ATMS. This was convenient for me because I live outside of the country for six months out of the year. They would reimburse up to $15.00 per month which was fine. Without my knowledge or consent, they arbitrarily changed all of that and transferred my account to a different type of account that does not offer any ATM fee reimbursements that other ATM owners charge. Secondly, after calling the Customer Service help line, I was told that I would receive a call back. It's been literally weeks and I've received zero response from anyone at this bank. The ATMs are cool, but this place is just a little too much "online" and "self-service options" to the point where they barely have any Tellers anymore. I do not like what they have done!

Very poor customer service. We signed in wait for 30 minutes and no one response. I saw them on the computer surfing the internet and talked on the phone. We left and went across street to Wells Fargo to open our checking account.

If I could give no stars I would ! Not only did capital one decided to close every branch in NOVA the only open seems to be in shitty Springfield ! I work late hours on the weekend and had to go and get a formal check for my apartment and now apparently they're only open till noon on Saturday's which is very inconvenient especially when I arrived shortly after 12 minutes in fact ! Very annoying and defiantly considering switching banks since there aren't any near by anymore ! Thanks a lot Capital One

Always fast, friendly, and efficient. Tanya (head teller) and Brayan (universal banker) always take care of any issues. This is the only branch I will go to!

Please have more staff on Saturday, So we can be assisted in faster. You should know that the majority of customers could not come during the week so they have to go on Saturday, you guys should be better prepared since you just only open for half day only. I always have to wait forever at this branch and it is such a waste of time. If i have options, i would not choose to come on Saturday cause my work hours don't allow me to come on weekdays

****This review would be for TEN...Count 'em folks...1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10--Yep, 10 STARS if I could possibly make it that, but I can't so I will go for the max....which is five stars. I received the absolute BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER yesterday, Thursday March 31st, 2016 in Springfield, VA at the Capital One Bank Branch on Commerce Street. AMAZING Customer service is pretty much obsolete anymore; so you can imagine my astonishment after being approached and being helped on such a personable level that blew me away!! It gives me great pleasure to acknowledge the person that made my day yesterday.....it was Relationship Banker BAIRON AGUILA!!! He is not only awesome but a breath of fresh air to know that there are a few professionals left out there in the banking industry that honestly go out of their way to help someone. He went above and beyond the extra mile and I feel honored and blessed to have met him!! Let it be known that I was NOT a Capital One Bank customer prior to my arrival at his branch. I attempted to open an online savings account and I was having issues getting into the system. I went into the branch on Commerce Street in Springfield, VA and as soon as I walked in, within 3 seconds, I was approached by Mr. Aguila. I explained my situation and he offered to call the Capital One Customer service department and see what he could do to get my problem corrected. To make a long story short, Capital One 360 is different than the Capital One branches here in Northern Virginia. So, instead of opening my account with the online bank, I opened it with Mr. Aguila. He won my business with his professional, personable, going the extra mile approach and I am more than impressed with his services and skills. Not to mention the fact that he made the account opening process so very simple and minimal that I was out the door within 10 minutes if not under! If you are thinking about switching banks or maybe opening a new checking or savings account but don't know where to go, I CHALLENGE you to go see Mr. Bairon Aguila :) You will be more than happy with his services and he will definitely take care of you!! Not only does he deserve a pat on the back, a handshake, a raise and a big fat bonus for his "AWESOMENESS", he gets the 2016 BEST RELATIONSHIP BANKER EVER AWARD in my book!!!
