I acknowledged and wished her a beautiful week ahead.Just before I hung up she mentioned about my car and asked if I am looking to refinance. I said not really but what do you have to offer. Long story short being a professional she mentioned about the special promo they have on their rates. I filled in the application and got approved.The moral of the story is had Ms. Geeta Shetty not asked me that question and done the follow through she did, I would not have thought about that for months as that was not on my agenda. “I came in here to make a deposit today, and this branch was conveniently located to an office where I had a meeting earlier. I am seeing more and more of these branches lately, whereas before I only knew of 2 locations in Springfield and Annandale. Every single time I've always had an uneventful and easy experience. I have an account at a different bank which has been the opposite experience, and I think that their problem is that they are trying to be too modern with their silly cafes and whatnot. That is not the case with this bank. It is definitely more of a traditional back which I appreciate.”

If you ever need a mortgage other banks might seem to be comparable but NFCU has less fees and doesn’t sell your mortgage to another lender.I would have taken more photos, but it was crowded when we went on a Saturday.The NFCU member bathroom is large and clean. “I was getting a massage locally and noticed the NFCU nearby and remembered I had a check on me that I needed to deposit. I typically deposit checks via my phone, but this saved me a step. At first I thought that this was an actual bank with tellers as it was hard to see inside. However, as I got out of my car, all I could see was a stand along ATM machine inside a door. I didn't mind as using the machine is just was easy as doing an electronic deposit. So, I grabbed my check, signed the back and used my card to use the machine. Overall, easy transaction and one of the new features they have is to opt to have a printed receipt with a copy of the check printed on the receipt. I did this and got the receipt and had a small version of the check on the transaction. I thought it was pretty cool. I didn't really want the receipt, but just wanted to see what it would look like once it was printed. Kudos for a having a location that was close to me and nearby. I appreciate walking up to a machine once in a while. Are there many banks anymore with tellers? I wouldn't know, but I do appreciate the stand alone machines.”
