“We went to a few lowes looking for a specific dishwasher, online said it waa in stocks but they didn't have them when I got there. I called portsmouth and the lady on the phone (Sherri) said she would look, but I had just got to the store by the time I got to speak with someone and told her I would be coming inside. I came inside and she was already looking for it. She found the item promptly, brought it out for us, walked it to our car, and even helped load it! Definitely great customer service! Thank you Sherri!”

“This 5 star review is solely for Sarah, from the merchandising department. I’ve been looking to have plexi glass cut for the past 2 days and was unable to get hold of an associate to get it done. Ran out of time waiting day 1 came back day 2 and Waited around 20 minutes after asking for assistance. I asked Sarah and when she couldn’t get a hold of Dorthy due to her meeting, Sarah took the initiative, put her project on hold and provided A1 World Class Service to a guy just looking to spend his hard earned green backs with the Lowe’s corporation instead of local vendor or the Orange building across the street. This young lady needs a raise, promotion, and her well deserved recognition. I’ll be back in through out the year just to check on Sarah’s development.”

“I asked an employee in the electrical aisle where the plexiglass was. He thought a second and rattled off the aisle and the position on the aisle. I asked if he worked that section and he said no, he works electrical- but he pretty much knows where everything is and he's glad to help. I was in and out in a flash and told him I'd look for him every time I couldn't find anything. I have the app on my phone so I could look it up myself. But human interaction is good for you.”

“We always like going to The Home Depot located at 1400 Tintern Street just off of Battlefield Boulevard in the heart of Chesapeake. The staff is always friendly and helpful with product questions and suggestions if you are on the fence about which products will best suit your individual wants and needs. We visited the Garden Center to pick up some plants for the outside of our home. We were impressed and delighted with the large selection of plants and shrubs for sale. They employ people who are experts in gardening and they are helpful with tips on how to plant, spacing and placement to give you the best chance for success and longevity of the plants. The prices are competitive (they better be with Lowes right across the street) and the selection is good.If you are planning to visit on a weekend, it pays to shop early because the lines can get long later into the day.”

“The moment I walked in, I was given a happy hello. Although my knowledge of kitchen appliances was subpar, I was directed to exactly what I needed. No fuss, no muss. A great place to get what you need and the prices are reasonable.”

“Clean store, helpful staff, accurate stock to what's showing online, returns are easy, and hybrid checkout options. Pro tip for fur parents: they allow dogs and the store is a great place to get your young dog desensitized in many different sounds around them.”
