“I was a bit surprised to see the poor reviews. Customer service was leisurely yet helpful. I prefer to pull my own lumber (IMHO, anyone complaining it's not done for them doesn't care enough to pull their own), and they even pulled out a fresh load for me in the yard. If you're in a rush, perhaps not the place for you, but if you care about picking out your wood from a huge selection, the place to go. P.S. The only place I found kiln-dried pressure treated wood. Other suppliers purporting to carry it on special order never called me back.”

“We went to a few lowes looking for a specific dishwasher, online said it waa in stocks but they didn't have them when I got there. I called portsmouth and the lady on the phone (Sherri) said she would look, but I had just got to the store by the time I got to speak with someone and told her I would be coming inside. I came inside and she was already looking for it. She found the item promptly, brought it out for us, walked it to our car, and even helped load it! Definitely great customer service!
