3310 W Cary St, Richmond“I love this place!! They’re always the friendliest and always are wonderful to my dog. Ella was incredible with helping me get my dog’s nails trimmed— got them done super quick and easy and the pup was very happy afterwards. Kaitlyn is also wonderful, and was super helpful in helping me pick out a treat for him :) Thanks guys! You rock!!”
“If you have an animal who needs a wash, GO HERE! They literally have everything you need---towels, shampoo, conditioner, ear wipes, various types of brushes, crates, blowdryers at the tub, and a separate blowdrying station. Just to make it even better, the employee on duty was an actual angel. She was friendly and knowledgeable, but she also was attentive to my dog. I have a senior dog who rushed down the steps and felt on the floor. She couldn't get up, and while I was in shock, the employee lept into action and made a sling for me with a towel. She escorted my baby to the cash register while I gathered my things and gave her a treat to help her feel better. I will 3000% be back, and be more diligent in guiding my dog down the stairs (she's perfectly fine btw).”
“As in all good training, the owner is the learner so he/she can "learn" the dog. Emily does a good job keeping the owners honed in. Below is the diva, the stubbornness dog I've ever owned.”
9AM - 9PM
11400 W Huguenot Rd Ste 118, Midlothian“Small but most helpful and pleasant to be...I had a new little dog and I needed a lot of help..it's also where the dog groomers buy..so you know it's good”
“Our dog Luca was found to have a mass in his ear. After speaking with Dogma, they found time to bring him in to have a bath before his surgical consultation. Even with his tender ear, they were able to schedule him and bathe him on his schedule. No rush, no pressure. I cannot say enough good things about every person at Dogma. How lucky we are to have found them.”
“Great place, friendly staff, helpful as well. Lots of room lots of tanks. We came in between shipments so low stock on some things but good pricing and great potential!”
“The girls there treat my baby like she is part of the family. My baby is actually excited to go back and get her nails done and even fusses at them if they don't speak to her and give her lovins.”
“Love the SPCA shop and stop by it regularly. They have lots of really cool toys, leashes, treats etc. They’re mission is the best and supporting that makes going there even more worthwhile.”
“I wanted to make sure to leave a review for PJ Petts - our brand new family member needed his first groom and PJ Petts did a fantastic job! The staff listened to what we wanted and our boy came back looking so handsome. I love that they called to give us a "report card" on how he did so we can ensure his next grooming session is a success. They are fully booked and not taking new clients at the moment but we have our name on the list for when something does open up.”

11701 Iron Bridge Rd, Chester“Great grocery store! Sometimes carry items, other grocery stores do not. Never a long wait and very friendly staff, knowledgeable,
and helpful. ? Daniel R.”
“They can always take me or fit me in. Very friendly staff. Very reasonable and my dog seems happy. Recommend the furmnator treatment for shedding dogs. It's a life saver.”
“I regularly read reviews but never post. However I must share the good word about this pet store. Jeff is very informative & passionate about pet nutrition. You gotta go and neet Notorious D.I.G, the friendliest cat in town!! Launching a grand opening this weekend, I plan to stop by weekly to grab what I need for my special tripod doggy.”
8AM - 9PM
5110 S Laburnum Ave, Richmond“Always great deals, you don't need a quarter for a cart at this location. Bring bags or buy at checkout. Very fresh produce. Usually short lines/ checkout time.”
8:30AM - 4:30PM
5701 Eastport Blvd, Richmond“I had an interview there and I was very impressed by how clean the facility was and how the folks working there seemed really happy. I believe they make a top notch product.”
“I always go in here to enjoy looking at the Guinea pigs and other animals whenever I’m early for a pickup at the chipotle next door. I usually buy a toy for my cats as well when I visit and browse. I asked for the bathroom and a very friendly staff member let me know where it was. Another store associate named Red also let me know at the same time that there was a bunch of super cute cat toys available by the restroom in the clearance rack. Needless to say I bought five different adorable cat toys on discount! Thank you, Red, for letting me know! And thanks to the great service by the other employees today ?”
“Love petco everyone there is always so nice feels like people I’ve known my whole life always get my crickets here and there are very clean DO NOT GO TO PETSMART the cages are filthy that they keep there crickets In”
8AM - 9PM
4700 W Broad St, Richmond“Like their bakery a lot, and their items from Germany. Especially around the Christmas holiday time. Good sales of seafood too. Usually includes shrimps and frozen flounder.”
“First time ever going there. Was referred by a friend as a place to wash my dogs. Was very pleased with their dog washing stations. Ended up walking around and shopping. Friendly staff. I will definitely be visiting here more often.”
“Emmy was such a great wealth of knowledge when I came in for my first visit, she was actually the only person to greet us and offer assistance and literally the only reason our business was earned. Thank you ?”
9AM - 9PM
5515 W Broad St, Richmond“It's not the best PetSmart as far as what they have in stock but it's great for picking up essential pet items. There is also a PetSmart groomers inside the store, $30 for basic pet grooming. At this particular location, if you have a very small dog, (5 pounds or less) You will have a difficult time finding items to fit your dog. I have a very small long hair Chihuahua and I never find collars or other items that can fit her. Other than that, this place is great and it's right across from Target so if you don't find what you need at PetSmart, you will probably find it at the nearby Target.”
8AM - 9PM
1311 Mall Dr, Bon Air“Great market with a variety of European items. They have one of the nicest employees named Rose. She is a sweetheart. Greets everyone with a smile and a positive and professional demeanor. They need to give her a raise!”
9AM - 9PM
1276 Carmia Way, Richmond“While this Petsmart isn't exactly close to where I live, the parking is abundant, the prices are competitive with Petco and I feel like they offer a lot of brands that Petco does not. I have a puppy that I am trying to transition to a more high-end food and Petco just didn't have the brands I was looking for. This PetSmart has a great variety of Merrick, Instinct, Natural Balance and Wellness brands and now carries the Bobby Flay "Nacho" food line, which previously you could only get online. I feel like they usually have what I need whether it be for my turtle, cats or now our new puppy, Wilma.”
“We are happy customers and have been for almost 5 years. I understand that experiences and expectations are as unique as the people who describe them. That said, I have had only two issues and both were resolved...1. once I ordered chews that were supposed to be in 1lb bags. I received the correct # of bags, but 1/2lb bags. I contacted TBBS and got the remaining bags. 2.The second incident was bison ears. Had ordered these many times, but these were very different. They looked like cow ear pieces that had been dyed red, instead of the whole and pointy ears of previous orders, and nothing like the pic online. Worst of all, the dye would stain everything once our pups started to go to town on them. I left a product review, detailing my experience. Customer service rep responded and I received a full refund-I did not have to send anything back.I also had some minor incidents with a sale-priced item not being available within moments of receiving email notification. Customer service rep responded within hours and I received a link to a cart with the desired quantity of the sale item as well as an additional 15% off.Anytime I have contacted CS with a question, issue, comment, want, or need, I have gotten a response. We have 11 rescues...hubby had Ike and Tina when we met and now we are also Chuy, Cindi, Kurly, Larry, Moe, Blaize, Sox, Papi and Luci...TBBS goes a long way for us to be able to provide healthy chews for our pups...and with that many mouths to take care of, we heavily rely on TBBS sales and clearance chews. Additionally, they offer discounts for military, law-enforcement and first responders. Best-when something is already sale, or clearance priced, I still get my 15% discount. I usually buy enough for the free shipping and to qualify for 6 month interest-free payment with PayPal credit. If it is an epic sale, we usually stock up a lot. A few years ago, during the 12 days of Christmas sales, We bought enough to last for a year+Shipping is also always prompt and fast.Yes, I will count package content in the future, just to be sure. If anything is short, I don't need an option. A partial refund will be just fine. I would not expect them to incur additional expenses to just send 2 or 3 pieces. Important to me are where the items are sourced from. I don't want mystery chews and like the details provided on their product page.I have been to many other sites to compare prices. So far I have not found any better-priced sites.I am very happy that TBBS brought back Bully Bites. These are the odds and ends of varying thickness, lengths and density that are left over from making bully sticks. We just cannot afford to give each of our dogs a whole stick everyday. The bites have something for each one of our 9 to 90 pounders, that will satisfy their chewing cravings.Another top hit are the cow hooves. They were on sale at 50%off. These last for days and they all love them.Natural cow ears-I cut them with my circular saw. That way the drums go to our aggressive chewers and the others are able to deal with the thinner pieces. Our bully, Cindi, has mega esophagus. She can only eat very liquid foods or something very hard that only comes off in small bits so it doesn't get stuck and cause her to vomit...TBBS now also has a rewards program that basically gives you cash back in the form of $-off coupons. You can use these for yourself or gift them to a fellow pet lover.About the noxious odors of some items-yes, they are dried, but most are also raw...obviously, once pups are chewing on them, they re-hydrate and with that comes the smell. It is delicious to doggy noses. Not sure how bully sticks are made odor-free, but I am sure I would not want them for my dogs. The eyes, ears, nose, mouth all should be part of the experience for your pup. If you don't like the smell, let them enjoy their treat outside. Again, not taking away from anyone's experiences. These are ours and we will continue being customers for the foreseeable future.”
“My ferrets love the dried minnows which petsmart sells for cats in a larger quantity and cheaper price than the other pet store marked for ferrets for more money and less minnows. It's kind of ridiculous. Petsmart has good deals on litter and they sell the cheaper cat foods which are the only ones my cats will eat haha. And let's not forget how adorable their pet products are from pillows to clothing and other things like the character pool and all that good stuff. It's always giving!!”
“My wife went in to get a shirt for one of our cats. No, we aren't those kind of people who typically put clothes on animals but this poor guy keeps picking at a spot on his back until it is raw and the vet hasn't been able to help. The shirt is made for a small dog but with a couple of modifications it helps keep him from hurting himself.”
“Got our dog there November 2023 and we couldn’t be happier. He was a blessing to our lives. RAL did a great job getting us paired up, and we also got a free coupon for his first doctor’s appointment and some free toys. Thank you for all that you do!”
