It's not bad, and your vehicle is mostly clean with some dirty areas still visibly seen. I've noticed the last few times it still had dirt in places, and after going through the whole cleaning process, it left water marks. This place used to be great in the beginning when they first opened, but quality has gone down, unfortunately.

Automatic washers are frequently down. They are also overpriced. All features of the car wash are overpriced. The manual wash bays and the vacuums. Business appears poorly maintained. Do not recommend.

Was in town for Easter ran through to get pollen of my truck. When truck reached the blowers. It blew out my sunroof. Workers took pics and report. And they stated they knew the blowers were to strong. I have heard nothing from them on how they will fix my sunroof band now it’s been raining for 3 days. I’ve called 3 times. And results. Stay away unless you want a damaged vehicle

I've been coming to the car wash for about 10/15 years. Last 5 less since moving. Use to talk to one of the attendants (Chris) often. I moved away from this location, closer to Fort Eustis. Just got a new truck and first wash thought I'd take a longer ride to get here because I've always had a good experience when manually washing my past vehicles at this location.
Not anymore. I can confirm others who have used this place over years that also have reviewed negatively are accurate reviews. I just got done leaving without spending money and searching for a better place to manually wash my truck. First bay broken, moved truck to working one, went to get 10 dollars in quarters, can't. Not swiping card or joining membership programs. Lost a costumer because you don't have a change machine that works.

Worst car wash I have ever been to waste of money it was my first time here and will be my last time I can get a way better wash for the same amount of money at riptide

Where do I begin. This use to be the best spot to hand spray n wash your car. Been coming here for over 20 years. Recently always has bays down and not working. Takes money and doesn't work. It charges $15 on your Debit Card everytime you swipe for the $5 wash. The Spot free rinse never works. Bays always have nails n stuff to poke your tires. I use to love this place it was so close to home. I will drive double the distance to clean my car now because this place has gone down hill.

Seriously, $5 gets you four minutes of wash time? That is more than abysmal, that’s a scam! Also don’t expect the spot free water to work. Terrible waste of time and still a dirty car ?

Just left there 30 minutes ago. When I got home, the car was still dirty. $18 down the drain. Literally. I will never go there again. The place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned or updated in years. Too bad you can’t see that from the outside of the place. Total rip off.

This review has been updated as of 2-20-2024. After seeing this review the district office called me to apology for the poor service at the cool wave on Warwick Blvd and offered 2 free washes at the Cool Wave on Jefferson Ave. The difference between the two was immediately noticeable. There is a friendly attendant that meets you at the beginning of the process to help with purchasing or in my case entering the code I received. There are 2 employees that greet you at the start of the wash to scrub your rims and tires, let you know when to put your vehicle in neutral and to place a plastic sleeve on the rear window wiper if necessary. The wash process is thorough and goes at a pace that actually cleans your car. Now no automatic car wash can replace a loving wash by hand but this is definitely worth the money. I do recommend if you have been to the Warwick cool wave and were disappointed, call the main office and they will try to make it right. I also recommend the Jefferson Ave Cool Wave as a great way to get your car clean. This was my experience others may vary.

Money scam...worst hand car wash I ever been to in my lifetime. Give you only 15 seconds per 25 cents you add $10 and still wasn't finished rinsing my car off water pressure is Set on low so you definitely need more time to rinse your car...save your money on this one. Make better time with your money to get an account with the automatic car washers and pay $25 a month and go anytime you want and free vacuum.
