I received a friendly reminder call a few hours before my reservation, kind greetings upon arrival, and superquick check-in.
I reserved a small vehicle.
To my surprise, I was given a larger vehicle.
Ford Edge. It was perfectly sized for me, super clean, full and fantastic on gas, and easy to manage.
Customer service was 5 Star !!
The guys were so respectable, efficient, and professional.

We rented from the Enterprise at J Clyde Morris and Jefferson ave in Newport News, Va. Enterprise as a company is my favorite rental because they typically have great staff who are empowered to help a customer. This visit Dwight was our rep and I was thoroughly impressed. He called me the more of my rental to confirm, was super pleasant on the phone and even nicer in person.
They were having a typical challenging Monday morning so people waited for cars thanks to late returns. What impressed me most was how Dwight and his team worked together to get everyone in a car asap while continually checking in with each customer and always with a welcoming smile. I felt like I mattered as a customer.
I can go on and on but I will say this, I would pass up other locations to rent from Dwight and his team any day. They handled stress and adversity with grace, joy and kindness.

“I can not emphasize enough how excellent, patient, professional, kind, and helpful the staff are here!!! It’s an insanely busy time of year, and they still remained courteous, empathetic, and professional to me even though my online reservation let me reserve a car with them when, in fact, they had no cars actually available. It’s not these individuals’ fault for flaws in Enterprise’s online booking systems and I understood that. They had tried reaching out to all the other rental locations for a car and unfortunately did not have any luck. And even though it wasn’t their fault, they still went above and beyond to provide exemplary customer service and were eventually able to get me a car the next morning.
Employee of the year needs to go to Akira Moment because she kept me updated every step of the way! She was so apologetic even though it wasn’t her fault. You can tell that she takes pride in her work and truly cares about her customers. The world is a crazy place right now, so it absolutely warmed my heart to witness such hard work and empathy from this delightful young lady. She should be a customer service trainer around the country to show how it’s done. She ensured the next day that her colleague, Will Armstead Jr., was aware of the situation also. And together they provided the best experience, and ultimately, got me a car so I could start my journey home. Thank you so much for making this difficult situation turn into a blessing! We need more people like them in this world! I hope they get raises and are the ones training others on how to do a job, not only well done, but to a standard that shows their pride and the excellence they strive for in their company. I highly recommend using their services! I called so many other companies and locations and none compared to these outstanding associates! Again, thank you and God bless!”

“Renting a car from Budget was fast and easy. The price didn’t change when I arrived to pick up the vehicle. They didn’t try to sell you anything else other than what you purchased.”
“No terrible issues except I think your Tesla should be fully charged not left for your customer to charge. I left town late because I had to go sit at the mall and charge the vehicle.. Also couldn't return it tonight be ause of no drop box. Safest thing to do is return tomorrow. I'm sure I was charged for another day. Where is your drop box???”
“Just flew my lawnmower with wings in here this afternoon. Great controllers, routing traffic when I couldn't use LAHSO ops. Told to expect short-final landing clearance, and they delivered. Only slight feedback was routing on the outer edges of the Class D, got a expected runway from the ATIS, but no routing or further information was available on initial contact (100% could have been due to workload on intersecting runways). Departure was great, with a quick turnout from runway 20 for northbound exit.”
