“Amazing shop. I was visiting Richmond for a mountain bike event and blew up my derailleur. 5 hour drive was almost for nothing. Their mechanic Jake dropped what he was doing and promptly hooked my injured bike up with a fresh upgrade on the spot. I was back on the trail mad fast and my trip was saved. The repair was perfect and the vibe of this shop was rad.”

“I walked into Total Wines looking for a different sweet wine to drink, and Dave an associate there was handing out wine samples. It was called Shoe Crazy and I loved it. I purchased a bottle of it and was not disappointed. I served it with homemaded Chicken Alfredo, broccoli and garlic bread perfect match. I can’t wait to share with my friends.”
“Incredible service!! I live in Atlanta and wanted to find a bottle of wine that was requested by one of my clients in the area. I could not find this specific bottle anywhere in the area so Barrel Thief was kind enough to place a special order for me and then delivered it to my client the next day. “They have a large variety of bourbon, tequila, & rum. I went specifically to check out the bourbon and their selection is extensive. They also have a large selection of rum and tequila. I did feel like their selection of scotch is a little lacking, but that's the case for most VA ABC stores. They did tell me they were moving but couldn't tell me where or when, just "soon".”

“Amazing place, arrived at 0440, recieving don't arrive until 0500, not a problem...fork lift guys got me backed into a dock, as soon as the guy arrived they started. 30 minutes later, I'm driving out with my bills...great guys.”

“Store has moved and new space is larger, brighter, cleaner - but as with all of Shockoe Bottom, finding parking can be a trick (locals probably walk and bike ride). Staff pleasant.”
“This teeny tiny VA ABC store manages to stay busy. It is in a beleaguered shopping center, and at this point, frankly, it's the anchor store! The staff is always helpful. They have all the essentials, and surprisingly a few great, uncommon finds. The only thing that may cause me to choose a different store is the parking situation. Being adjacent to not only one of the main entrances, but also a cut-through from Glenside to the shopping center behind the ABC store on Crockett St, and the ABC store on the end of the building, means the parking lot was not designed with ANY parking spaces directly in front of the store. This is further complicated by having to cross the lane of traffic to get to the parking lot. But the staff makes it worth it!”

“We came to this location with an idea of what we wanted until we were approached by the sales associate Kevin. Honestly, I never needed assistance when it came to a liquor store but so glad Kevin worked that night. How do I walk in with the idea of what I “think” I want and leave with what Kevin KNEW I needed?!?! Thanks Kevin!!!! Clean store. A little sparse but then again we went to the store at 7pm. Awesome customer service. Best I’ve experienced after visiting 50+ locations.”
