Cool little neighborhood wine shop. I LOVE the handwritten tags descriptions on the bottles that describe more info about the taste profile of the wine and what it pairs with. I also appreciate how the bottles are arranged by country and not just by varietal.
Second Bottle is a wine shop located in the historic district of Church Hill, walking distance from downtown Richmond.
We focus on wines that express their countries of origin through careful farming with little added and little taken away. As a result, the bulk of our inventory is biodynamic, organic, or sustainable. All of the bottles on our shelves have been put there with intention.
We strive to cultivate a love of wine that stems from the stories behind it. The stories you hear about how the wine was made and the grower who made it, the stories you tell while you're drinking it and the stories you remember from the times when it was shared.
