“Awesome!!! They are very nice also professional, straight forward and honest. They did what needed done and didn't add things that didn't need to be done. I took my 2020 Mercedes SUV for a shock absorber to Chantilly Mercedes and when they called me they had racked up $7,000 worth of things to do. I went to AutoTech and they did the few things that needed done (and didn't add on) for $1,800, that's a huge difference. They saved me thousands of dollars! Thanks for the honestly I appreciate it.

“The customer service is great at this location. Pricing, after calling several places in the area I have come to the conclusion that here in the DMV having your car service is expensive and risk in getting scammed quite easily if you are in a pinch. This place ain't like that, they are reliable.”

“Diego is the most honest mechanic I've come across. He was able to look at my car the same day I called and was very polite. My dealership had told me I was about to fail my inspection over some suspension issues, and after looking Diego said it was a little worn but that no repairs were needed and it would last for some time. I brought up multiple things I was told needed repair, which he said were fine. Instead, he pointed out some minor fixes I wasn't aware of (and that Acura hadn't mentioned) and went on to fix them the same day. Highly, highly, recommend. I've been to multiple mechanics in Tyson's, and they are alright, but Diego is the best and very pleasant to deal with (his wife too).”

“I just had my car interior detailed and exterior waxed/ cleaned. It was the premium package. After 2/3 years of driving off the lot. Having a child that eats messy in the car, myself always on the go practically living in my car because I’m always on the go. It was probably fries and chips, dust, sticky areas on my leather, and most importantly debris from just our feet. When I telllll you, when I picked up my car It looked and felt like it was the first time picking up my car up from the dealership. Even the exterior was fire. I had to question how did 1 person do all this work. I looked under the seats, in the crevices and nope nothing. “Giving credit where it is due - the TLDR - Sharirff and Henry helped me out of a bind where another shop was trying to screw me. They were incredibly fair and reasonable. They committed to a timeline after assessing the problem and delivered far above expectations. I feel I have found honest folks that I can trust for car service and I will bring any issue to this shop without questions from this point forward.

For a bit more -
I have lived in the area for the last few years and am relatively young; I have been to a few different mechanics where I have always found trouble - from poor dealerships to auto shops that have actively tried to rip me off pushing additional repairs, parts, or labor hours into their service. While I don't know everything about cars and trucks, my family works with them constantly... most recently, a different mechanic shop told me I needed a new power steering pump, new lines into the gears and hydro boost and a new hydro boost replaced for my breaking system. I was told labor would take 15+ hours. I know a few things 1) power steering pumps don't just go - they take a significant amount of miles 2) the chance both the power steering and hydro boost went south at the same time is a rare occurrence, 3) power steering pumps take 4 hours to replace, hydro boost 5

After getting a second opinion and having this Goodyear recommended to me, I spoke with Sharirff at this Goodyear. I told him what I knew and asked him for help. He told me that while he could not be sure until he looked at the car, the prior quote and information I received seemed incredibly aggressive. He told me he would do what he could to help and call me with an update before he did anything.

“Richard and his team treated me amazingly!

I came in after having issues with the brakes on my truck and they found out how bad of a job the previous mechanics shop did (poorly installed very cheap parts that lasted less than 2y / 20k miles, but costed me $1200)

Richard communicated with me very clearly and patiently about the problems that the cheap parts and poor labor created, and made recommendations to ensure I didn’t run into the same issues in the future. When the job wasn’t done by end of day, Richard and the technician Cao stayed late until 9pm (on a Saturday!) to make sure I could pick up my truck that night and not have to wait until Monday.

Even if the parts they installed weren’t cheap, they worked with me to ensure I could save some money here and there. I also feel much safer driving on these new parts after seeing what happened in the past.”
