An amazing place, 100% volunteer run and operated, where good people work tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and find homes for homeless dogs. Come see the magic for yourself -- visit any day between 9am and noon to walk a dog. They love the company, and who knows... maybe you'll find a new family-member.

About Animal Aid Society
Animal Aid Society (AAS) is a no kill dog shelter & a registered 501(c)3 organization located in Hampton, Virginia. Since its founding in 1971, AAS has helped countless stray, abandoned, and abused dogs find their happily ever after in Coastal Virginia.
Open to the public 365 days a year, AAS utilizes campus-style kennels that give each of each dog their own temperature controlled housing with access to an outdoor area 24 hours a day.
After all these years, it remains committed to providing dogs with medical care and safe shelter until they can be placed with a foster family or with their forever family!
