“I was a walk-in last Friday, unaware that they were trying to switch to no new patients on Fridays. Thankfully, they were still able to get Teeto weighed to establish him as a patient, so that I could sign up for their online pharmacy and order his Dasuquin Adv last minute. They also helped me set up an appointment for the following Thursday (today) at 8am for a more detailed checkup. They gave me a feliway wipe to help calm Teeto down beforehand - it worked great ☺️So today, I accidentally signed in to the walk-in sheet again despite having an appointment. Thankfully Jane caught it before I ended up waiting too long, thank you, Jane! I met with the Vet Assistant (whose name I didn't catch, sorry), she had prepared a towel wiped down in Feliway and was attentive to Teeto's demeanor, asking me if he dislikes being picked up when he showed signs of distress. She also took detailed notes on why I brought Teeto in and effectively conveyed that info to Dr. Woodley, so that she could come in with a plan and suggestions ready. Dr Woodley laid everything out in ways that were easy to understand and seemed promising. I'm confident it'll be then same when we go over the blood test results.Everyone I interacted with here was very kind, helpful, and accommodating ☺️ Thank you all”

“Recently,my pup Grayson (hx of fxd vertebrae in lumbar region was temporarily paralyzed x2wks. She and her team worked with him and he recovered.Grayson has caudal equina (urine incontinent) he wears a male diaper.) He in excitement before I could catch him jumped off the bed, belly flopping on a hardwood floor. From that point I had to have him seen, however he became much worse. When we returned he was x-rayed,blood work, catherized and an IV. He was treated by Dr Bev who called every night from home to update his situation. When he was given food( he'd stopped, eating drinking and urinating) the staff fed him by hand with a syringe. Grayson's situation looked bleak however Dr Bev worked tirelessly to help my boy recover. He came home on 2 meds but my boy is able to play, walk get his tummy rubbed and I have to give the human credit to Dr Bev & her staff. She & Dr Mike ( Silkey) are the best.I have known Dr BevSilkey&DrMike for over 10 yrs. I love her so much and she is one of the most dedicated ppl she's been a rock when my pup was hurt and I don't know what I would do without either one of them.Theyre the best...and their staff! This vet clinic never closed during the pandemic.ppl had to call ahead, wait in vehicle and a tech would come to the vehicle to get info, then take pet in for treatment. Many a day Dr Bev has worked through lunch and quitting time is 5 pm but she's stayed until the pets were cared for. The clinic doesn't have set appointments just call ahead and let them know the issues.”

“This was a first visit here for my dog and I. The staff were very friendly, courteous, and professional. The young lady that did all the prep work and assisted the vet was totally awesome! This was a wonderful experience!”

“Bit of backstory for this to make sense, I use to live in Hampton and sent my Great Pyrenees to Freed every Wednesday for daycare. I, at the time, lived in an apartment and wanted him to be able to run around and play. The staff took great care of him; he would come home brushed, tired, and was always excited to go back. They also handled all his medical checks and shots. Prior to moving to Rushmere and across the JRB, I was set on Freed. Now the biggest reason for this review. When my husband and I moved, the house we bought had a bunch of strays that would hang out around the carport. I fell in love with one and got attached, however we had just gotten a cat not too long prior and I didnt want to stress her out so we kept the stray outdoors and loved him from there. In October, my husband was walking me to my car and saw Munchie (the cat) laying on our stairs with a severely broken leg. Thankfully we were able to get Munchie in a carrier and taken to Animal Control.About a week after, I received a call saying they were not going to be able to help Munchie, but if I wanted to save him I could. Without thinking, I accepted and immediately called Freed. After explaining the situation and the length of time that had passed, they advised me to bring him to them ASAP. I did just that and they squeezed him in between appointments and stayed late to care for him. He was with them extended time to ensure he took well to surgery and was adjusted well.Communication was an all time high and they did everything I could have asked for and more. I have even gotten calls and messages asking how he has been doing and to check on him. Im forever thankful for the care that was provided.”

“Love Pembroke Animal Hospital and Dr. Gooding. The care we received was half the price of any other vet hospital around. And he doesn’t add on treatments and shots …just because!! If they don’t need it, he doesn’t give it. The staff are wonderful too!! I’ve lived here 38 years and had four dogs, been to several vets in this area and Dr. Gooding is the best by far!! Five stars ⭐️”

“I love taking my pup to the father daughter duo. My pup loves going and I think he thinks it’s time to play instead of the vet. They will forever have my business.”

“The AAS in Hampton, VA is a wonderful gem of a no-kill shelter. The volunteer caregivers are the kindest, most empathetic folks I have ever met. They take loving care of their rescued pups, their facilities are top-notch and very humane. The love they show each pup is a joy to behold. As we walked thru their process of adopting "Buddy", their thoroughness was impressive. References, pictures of your home and property, In-person greet sessions. It was all geared towards finding the best match for their pups. As it should be... Too many selfish and short-sighted pet owners nowadays. It was an honor to meet and work with AAS. Highly recommended.”

“They are always really kind. I do wait on hold for up to 14 minutes to make an appointment. And rarely get taken back at my appointment time. But overall nice, clean, and decent pricing. They do give a military discount.”

“I had a rescue pup that I had very little info on. They helped with determining what he was and estimated age. He took all the shots well and they were very gentle with him.”

“They careb about your pet as much as you do. Anytime I have taken my dog for care I have always felt good about the med decisions made for him. They will ALWAYS consult you first. And they check on you afterwards just to make sure all is well.”
