1900 Diagonal Rd, Alexandria“Hotel was very clean and inviting. The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly. There is plenty of underground parking ($35/night), with limited outdoor parking. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable.I wish the bar was open a little later on the weekends. I arrived back to the hotel around 9:45pm to find out the bar was closing at 10pm, bummer. Also, I reserved the Executive King, with the Upgrade option to the Presidential Suite (If available). When I looked at my bill, they charged me for the upgrade even though the PS was not available. I called back to the hotel to request a refund and was given a very hard time by Candy. I asked to speak with the manager, who was Jim (I believe) and addressed my concerns. He sincerely apologized and smoothed everything over.Nonetheless, I would definitely come back to this hotel. As a matter of fact, a group of us who want to do a staycation, are planning on coming back here in a few months.”
“Dinner at The Study was superb. Rodney, our server, was very knowledgeable about the menu and all of his recommendations were delicious. The ambiance was calm and inviting, with a mix of live music from a talented pianist and warm conversation from all of the diners. Food highlights: plantain empanada and gallo pinto bowl. Drink highlight: Goosebumps.”
“We got the two king bed room. The room was spacious and the beds were just amazing. I travel alot and these were definitely top rated beds.Breakfast is included for all guests. I loved the high quality crockery they used. Food is good, no hot items though.Location is amazing. We went to the Sunday farmers market next door and it was great.Parking is in the public garage right across the alley/street. At check in, They give you a permit to park overnight and charge $10 to the room. Very reasonable.Downstairs some areas are insta worthy.Rooms: Nespresso coffee I’m very cute cups in the room. Fridge and microwave. Every day room service. Great mint chocolate and infused at check in, water and a special chocolate after each room service.”
“Great price (booked through airbnb), fantastic location, super clean rooms, Amazing customer service! Especially Tonya she was very knowledgeable about the area and things to do. She went above and beyond to try to accommodate us for an extra night. Couldn't thank her enough! Highly recommend will definitely stay again!”

This hotel has been remodeled and it shows. It's beautiful. Hotel was peaceful and quiet. I slept soundly. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The Peloton bike was a great add on. Breakfast was hot and delicious with several choices. Great stay.”

2950 Eisenhower Ave, Alexandria“Noteworthy details: When the snow storm of 2024 hit Virginia I searched for a place to stay nearby. My criteria was simple: clean, comfortable, non-motel, under $100 stay. I was pleasantly surprised at the luxury environment this place provides. It was remote, yes, and my view was a roof of something yet, the amenities and environment was perfect ❤️ The lack of luxury customer service did not deter my peace because the place and stay exceeded my expectations for a total of $108 I paid out if pocket. It's a steal at this price! Highly recommend!”

The service was fantastic. I don't understand why it's a 2-star hotel? We had the best service around. Our rooms, and bed were very comfortable, clean, quiet.Wanna give a big thanks to Mr. Stacey. He It's so professional, my mother in law forgot her phone charger and he quickly allowed her to borrow one. He gave us suggestions for fantastic food like Della J's Soul food.Mr Marcus is another great employee. He repaired a toilet paper holder quickly for my mother in law.Safety: Never felt unsafe”

Also ridiculous that there's no complimentary breakfast at the rates you pay. The trademark restaurant was fantastic. Had the fish and chips and the burger. Delicious. The siracha salmon salad was very goodWalkability: There are stores nearby”

8180 Silverbrook Rd, Lorton“Will never stay at this hotel again the staff is very rude and have no prior knowledge of their policies. I was charged A $250 deposit for accidentals paid way more for that than I paid for a room for one night. I was told that my money would be released after checking the room, making sure everything was in order was told my money release in a few hours or even a few days they really think much of it and mind you. It’s been a whole month after calling and calling and calling no answer no nothing was told it got released but then again, I find it funny after a whole entire month it finally got canceled and finally got my money back . The rooms are nice don’t get me wrong but staff is unprofessional very rude. Don’t know their policies and management can never get back to you or probably there just want to hear my mouth at all. This is not the first time I’ve read that people were charge outrageous amount of deposits, and it seems to be I was the only one who got chosen to pay that huge amount that was way more than my room for one night, which is ridiculous will never stay here again.”

My room was clean, spacious enough, and had a great view of the courtyard and river. Incredibly easy access to all of the great shops, bars, and restaurants in Old Town. You can walk anywhere in a matter of minutes. Parking was a very minor concern in my eyes. The underground parking is limited and very tight. I will stay there again.”

2800 S Potomac Ave, Arlington“My stay at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel was quite interesting. I was there to participate in an event for young entrepreneurs, and the hotel was perfect to host the respective activities. With its excellent structure, the hotel comfortably accommodated young people from several Latin American countries.During my stay, I enjoyed both the official event activities and leisure time. The hotel itself was impeccable, offering all the amenities and comforts needed for a pleasant stay. However, as I explored the surrounding area of Arlington, I noticed that the area was a bit isolated and better suited to those driving. Compared to Washington, which I was already used to, Arlington seemed a little more difficult to get around, especially for those who depend on public transportation. In summary, inside the hotel, my experience was excellent, but the surrounding region could offer a slightly richer and more accessible experience, especially in terms of getting around and exploring the area.”

It was very fast and arrived fresh and tasty. Please note that they are doing extensive construction surrounding the hotel now, so if you were hoping to sleep in past 7 am, it might be difficult. Other than that minor inconvenience, I'd visit again.”

The hotel located in the center of tourist attractions and easy walk to the waterfront of potomac river to see the firework. Lots of restaurants nearby. The service from checkin to checkout was awesome. The room was on the small side but was clean and have everything you need.”

“Food was fairly decent for a bar. They even had gluten free options. Service was pretty decent as well. Prices are what you would expect I think. Atmosphere wasn't bad except in the evening they had a DJ and the music was pretty loud. I liked the music he was playing, it was just a bit loud for a hotel bar. If you're staying at the hotel and need food and drinks it's worth stopping by.”

900 S Orme St, Arlington“It is a 1/2 mile from Fort Myers (Arlington, VA). I was there for the ATW trombone wotkshop on the base. Good views of DC monuments on upper floors (city view, ask for it). Near Chrystal City and Arlington cemetery. I have been coming here for several years but it is getting pricy. You pay to park here ($32.00). Very limited on street parking. If you get the breakfast buffet, ask them to make you an omelet instead of the scrambled eggs on the buffet. Friendly staff. AAA/senior discounts will help with the price. Some past water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom. Refrigerator but no microwave.”
“For a two-night staycation, my wife, seven-year-old daughter and I checked into the Ritz-Carlton, one of Arlington's only luxury hotels. Right outside the Pentagon City Metro and connected to the Pentagon City Mall, here's our experience.1) Check-In: With the app, it's easy. Our stay was in the app with all the details. Check in went smoothly. Upon check in, you can choose a mobile room key or physical key cards. Staff offered to help with our luggage.Next to the check in desk is a Ritz Kids kiosk that my seven-year-old daughter enjoyed. After filling out a few questions, she was given a coloring pad, crayons, a scavenger hunt map, a stuffed animal, and gummy bears. "I feel like a princess," she said.2) Rooms: We stayed on floor 18, the club access level, in a double bed room with views of D.C.'s monuments. We could see the Washington Monument, the National Cathedral, and nearby Air Force Memorial (in Arlington). The room came with a desk, luggage stands, a closet, a small bathroom, a mini bar, and a snack bar for pay. There were enough outlets and the bathroom came with a shaving kit, a dental kit, and more. The water pressure was great and the water can be turned to soft or hard. For the three of us, the room's beds were small. Both moving around a lot, my daughter and I shared a bed and didn't sleep well. The second night we got a mattress for the floor so we each had a place to sleep.3) Amenities: The hotel has a third floor gym with weights, machines, a sauna, and steam room in each changing room area. The pool was closed for renovation. There's the Sante restaurant and bar on the ground level near meeting rooms. The Club Lounge on the 18th floor offered five meal times throughout the day with quality food, views of the monuments, and plenty of tables to sit and read. They also had wine, drinks, and a candy bar.In the lobby, there's a postcard area to send free postcard to friends and family. The hotel offers valet service.4) Service: The Ritz is know for the "Ritz-Carlton Way." Every staff member was genuinely friendly, remembering our names, and treating us like family. At every step, they offered to help. When we bought dumplings that needed to be frozen, they stored it in the hotel freezer for us.Our daughter felt special throughout our stay. At dinner, the restaurant Sante placed a stuffed animal on her plate. The valet service let her pick a toy from their toy box. She loved staying here!5) Area: It's near the Metro and the mall is connected with all types of shops and a food court. For good coffee, walk two blocks to Commonwealth Joe. The Metropolitan Park and Long Bridge Park are close with trails, public art, and views.(Disclaimer: The hotel hosted our stay, but views are my own. They didn't ask for me to post.)”

My only problem is the gym and pool location is a little hard to figure out how to walk back to my roomRooms: Nice and clean with a sofa bed for my kids.Food & drinks: Complementary smacks and alcohol beverage/happy hour at your arrival. I like their eggs. It makes with real eggs, not powder!.”

Probably will stay again next time I'm in the area!”
“Great stay! The rooms are clean and spacious. The suite was very comfortable for myself, my wife, 3 kids and our dog. Breakfast was great. The weekly social was chicken tenders and mashed potatoes and mac and cheese with trivia (with prizes!) on Wednesday night. We had a great stay and would stay again anytime. It hurts my pride a bit today say as a Navy guy, but we’re staying this week in a Navy Lodge in a new city, and while the Lodge is what I’d call ‘sufficient’, the Staybridge Suites was outstanding!”
