“It’s so nice and pretty, so many options, everything looks so nice, it’s so organized the girls are checking all the time and everything is so welcoming, come prepare to try the close on top of yours, the ladies are the best, all of them are so cute and nice, it was a wonderful experience, for sure I will come back”
“They have sorted and curated only the best items to resale, so this isn’t your ordinary shop, and the prices show. If you want 1/2 price designer duds, pop in here before you bother with the mall, especially if you are small. Not many XLs.”
“This is such a lovely place to shop! They were so friendly and helpful! I found a great summer skirt. They also have an amazing selection of formal wear. This is definitely the place to go!”

4980 Wyaconda Rd C, Rockville“We were happy to have been introduced to Carol Walser and her service, Market House, to conduct an estate sale at our Bethesda home in fall 2021. Carol and her team conducted a four-day sale, managed the removal of items sold, and then found ways to donate what remained, so that we did not have to be involved in emptying all the we were leaving behind. It was, for us, an excellent way to lessen the emotional drain of downsizing. Our sincere thanks to Carol and her whole team!”
“This is a sweet little clothing and accessories store in the heart of Falls Church City. The selection is thoughtfully curated with popular premium brands, like Hannah Andersson. It's definitely a place to find nice, gently used clothes, especially for a young girl in your life. I'm a big believer in reducing waste and reusing items, so I'm glad to shop secondhand. Thrift stores can be super hit or miss when it comes to finding what you want. That's the upside of a store like this--instead of hunting through tons of random things, they've already vetted the selections.”
“If I could give this place 100 stars I would! ❤️ Cannot recommend Wardrobe Rescue enough. Have been shopping and consigning here for years. Whether you are looking for brand new, vintage, classic, or rare pieces Wardrobe Rescue is the best place to go for all your designer and high end needs. Not only does the staff always make me feel welcomed and taken care of, but this place also has some of the most beautiful one of a kind bags, shoes, and clothing ive collected to date. If you are going to buy designer pieces spend your money here with this local business that cares about its customers instead of a big corporation that is just trying to make their next billion.”
“Not your typical thrift store. It is upscale but very well displayed and organized housewares, clothing, books, decor, etc donated by people to benefit Inova hospital.”
“They have an entire floor downstairs dedicated to upscale furniture and housewares. Designer clothing upstairs and reasonable price. Just don't expect thrift store prices.”
“the best plato's you'll find probably in a 20 mile radius. this corporation (in so many cities) struggles so much and typically has a scam-like process in selling clothes. the little things however do make a difference. for one thing, being greeted upon walking in was a plus and great impression. The staff acknowledging and being attentive to service is great as well. you have some great front desk girls that smile and also present the store well. I was quoted a fair wait time for 2 large bags of clothes. when i returned it was seamless (there's a counter dedicated for pick up, drop off, etc) it just seems a lot more organized than the Plato's i have experienced. I always think the outcome of going to Plato's however is unapologetically disappointing, considering i had very new-like items, some with tags, and only got $30 from them for like 6 items. It does make you question their judgement because from a consumer side, i never actually FIND anything here. so it's like your just accepting whatever, not the newer better quality and brand items that belong in a second hand thrift store. Let's be honest they've always had poor judgment.
But the woman who checked me out was nice, everything was put together and I think i would return in the fall/winter at my next closet detox.”
