“Went to buy makings for Manhattans. Had bitters. Found several brands & sizes of sweet vermouth. Found a plethora of whiskeys. Bought Wild Turkey 101 proof in 1.75 litre bottle on sale $3 off. Clerks were especially helpful in finding & carrying to register. Highly recommend going here.”

“Great selection of wines and beers at very reasonable prices. Look for recommendation signs. Time to time, they have wine tastings - great way to taste before buying a case or two. Plenty of great wines in the $15-50 range from all over the world. Compare prices against Wine Searcher.”

“Off the beaten path, this clean, well-lighted ABC store features a decent selection, frequent mark downs, and friendly staff who can connect you with your favorites or help you choose the booze you need for a new cocktail or party liquor stash. In the Harris Teeter Pender Campus strip, you'll miss this location if you blink while driving by. Maybe that is why it is never crowded and I always feel I can leisurely peruse the shelves without pressure if getting out of the way of other shoppers. Last year for our Halloween party, the patient attendant searched inventory in several stores to locate a couple bottles of black vodka for one of the seasonally themed drinks we were serving. He then called the other store and asked them to set aside the bottles and have them waiting for us. Other times, I've just brought in a list of spirits needed to make specialty cocktails and the attendant has gone to the shelves and brought the items to the counter--in essence doing my shopping for me. I really couldn't ask for better customer service.”
“Never been a huge fan of the Longhorns in my area. Close to the hotel in Fairfax, VA so decided to try it. EXCELLENT! Wings were hot and delicious. Steak was tender and cooked perfectly. Service was exceptional. Definitely will return. Great job !”

“The ABC store on Braddock isn’t the largest of the local ABC stores but it is my go-to shop. There’s no problem finding the basics and for the harder to find items, the super friendly and cheerful, curly-haired manager always takes the time to help me search—in the store or on the computer. I love stopping by and always run into other KPW neighbors there. It’s like a party before the party! Highly recommend!”
“The best ABC store! They have every family brand of tequilas also the hyped celebrity ones, but I finally had a huge selection to choose from. I have walked out of multiple ABC stores with nothing thinking I had to drive to DC or Maryland for family named tequilas! I noticed they had a wide variety of every type of alcohol and they also said if we don’t have it tell us and we will order it and have it stocked. Great selections and great people!”

“I don't know how everyone else has had a bad experience with them. Whenever I'm there, The pharmacists are very kind and they are always happy to explain the process.Maybe these people who are writing these reviews are the rude people who demand to receive their prescriptions early or they yell at the pharmacists for supply issues.In any case, I've never ever had a bad experience with Harris Teeter and I have been going to this pharmacy since they first opened. You can always call ahead to inquire about your medication and they are always happy to help.”

“Beer, cigars, wine. A good aggregation of vice products. Perfect go to for parties. Staff are helpful; just wish they had more sales and Maltese wines. And their rewards program is quite lacking. But I am a loyal patron given my need to imbibe.”
