“Beer, cigars, wine. A good aggregation of vice products. Perfect go to for parties. Staff are helpful; just wish they had more sales and Maltese wines. And their rewards program is quite lacking. But I am a loyal patron given my need to imbibe.”

“Very helpful staff.

Unfortunately, wine selection is limited to a few bottle due to them only being able to sell Virginia made wines.

Store is clean and well stocked with liquors.”

“Let's be honest here its the ABC store why would anyone put up less than 5 stars. You know why you're going here, and you can't exactly complain about prices when these stores are state run and therefore the price is literally out of the people working theres control.”

“Great selection of wines and beers at very reasonable prices. Look for recommendation signs. Time to time, they have wine tastings - great way to taste before buying a case or two. Plenty of great wines in the $15-50 range from all over the world. Compare prices against Wine Searcher.”

“Great selection, combined with awesome customer service! Really, what more could you ask for? The gentleman working not only answered all my questions, he patiently made recommendations for future purchases without being "pushy." I was very pleased with my visit here today, and I will definitely be back!”

“Off the beaten path, this clean, well-lighted ABC store features a decent selection, frequent mark downs, and friendly staff who can connect you with your favorites or help you choose the booze you need for a new cocktail or party liquor stash. In the Harris Teeter Pender Campus strip, you'll miss this location if you blink while driving by. Maybe that is why it is never crowded and I always feel I can leisurely peruse the shelves without pressure if getting out of the way of other shoppers. Last year for our Halloween party, the patient attendant searched inventory in several stores to locate a couple bottles of black vodka for one of the seasonally themed drinks we were serving. He then called the other store and asked them to set aside the bottles and have them waiting for us. Other times, I've just brought in a list of spirits needed to make specialty cocktails and the attendant has gone to the shelves and brought the items to the counter--in essence doing my shopping for me. I really couldn't ask for better customer service.”

“Never been a huge fan of the Longhorns in my area. Close to the hotel in Fairfax, VA so decided to try it. EXCELLENT! Wings were hot and delicious. Steak was tender and cooked perfectly. Service was exceptional. Definitely will return. Great job !”

“I came in here around Christmas looking for Baileys S a gift. I had picked up a bottle and the man working pointed me to a gift package with a cup in it for the same price. He was extremely helpful. I'm not sure if he was the owner or just someone working there but he was an Asian gentleman. Very helpful.”

“Went to HT last week for steaks and the gentleman behind the counter (i think his name was Nick or Nicky) was so helpful and knowledgeable. He cut my steaks perfectly. Love going to that store.”

“I don't know how everyone else has had a bad experience with them. Whenever I'm there, The pharmacists are very kind and they are always happy to explain the process.Maybe these people who are writing these reviews are the rude people who demand to receive their prescriptions early or they yell at the pharmacists for supply issues. In any case, I've never ever had a bad experience with Harris Teeter and I have been going to this pharmacy since they first opened. You can always call ahead to inquire about your medication and they are always happy to help.”

“I live right in between Safeway and Wegmans. Wegmans is just about all around superior to Safeway - for the most part. However, one thing I truly appreciate about Safeway is certain people who work there. They brighten my day whereas Wegmans, albeit friendly staff and helpful are just too pre-occupied with the vast crowd of people bombarding them that I can't seem to get that personal touch and attention to detail I've become accustomed to at Safeway. 3 staff members come to mind right away - DOROTHY! Kim & Randy - all 3 are fantastic people and as long as they're working there I'll continue to snub Wegmans. Can you remember when youve been on a first name-basis friendship with staff at a random business?! These 3 put me in a good mood, it's a joy to see them every time I'm there. I've also brought by friends and family members who've had the nicest things to say about them. Props to whomever hired these 3 fine employees - and more importantly genuinely decent people who've somehow managed to make grocery shopping enjoyable.”
