“I moved to this side of town a couple years ago and this is my new favorite grocery store. I love their buy one get one deals and their subs. My only complaint is sometimes I will order a sub in advance and it is not ready at the promised time”
“They don't have everything but can definitely get enough to make dinner and lunch for the kids. Fresh fruit & veg area is decent. Store is clean & wide aisles.”
“When I'm not at Walmart I'm at Food Lion. At some time that prices are lesser than Walmart products. So I'll shop there and with good measure. They are not Walmart but they have a lot of foods that are great and great prices.”
“I had to make a quick run for some specific ingredients for a recipe and I got stuck. A gentleman named Lamans was stocking shelves and breaking down boxes but stopped to ask if I needed anything. I took him up on it and asked where everything was, he knew most of the random stuff right off the top of his head and then called the deli to verify a specific cheese i was looking for. He turned what would’ve been a long frustrating search into like a 2 minute trip all while still stocking and breaking down boxes on a Saturday. That guy 100% made my day and he’s part of why this is the best grocery store around.”

Store has new manager and she claims phones are broken and cant get anyone to fix them she did however let me in at the last second to grab diapers and I'm so greatful store looked much better then last week! “Today is my first day here and I loved it. This is one of those Super Krogers that I think is meant to compete with Wegmans. They have a bar area, a Starbucks, and nothing was out of stock. My family usually shops at a smaller Kroger for the comfort aspect, but lately they've been slacking on expired products. Glad to see that's not an issue here! Will definitely keep coming!”

“I give this pharmacy 5 stars! I like the team of very dedicated pharmacists: Camron and Hillary. They always take the time to resolve a situation with your doctor’s office, answer your insurance questions, provide medication counseling, and assist with manufacturer recalls. They communicate insurance issues/challenges effectively and do so in a caring and friendly manner. Over the years, I have witnessed them helping countless elderly customers who seemed at a loss with their prescription issues. They also go the extra mile to get you discount cards or other programs to help you offset some of the co-pay costs.They are VERY busy and yet, 99% of the time, my prescriptions are refilled on the same day as I requested them through the automated phone system (which is very convenient and easy to navigate). We even fill our pet medications at this location. The scheduling for vaccinations is just as easy to do.I also want to acknowledge the Pharmacy Techs who are just as pleasant and helpful, just to name a few: Lyn, Kayla and Kristian.Our Kroger Pharmacists have always provided outstanding service.”

“I enjoy this food lion much better than Amelia, which is where I live. I try to visit this one over colder months but in summer I just can't do it bc the drive is too far to go with frozen items, even with using a freezer bag. They don't help but so much. Hopefully one day amelia will become better like powhatan but in the meantime keep doing what yall do powhatan!”
