“Very caring and kind with the pets . Love doctor Handcock whom we have followed from an practice..this time we saw the vet tec for misty to have a vaccine and nails trimmed. They were running late due to an emergency. They kept us updated on what was going on .This was a previous review.Today we saw doctor Handcock. We had a great visit and all is well. Misty has white coat syndrome so panics at first . Dr Handcock was fabulous and gently calmed her down .May 6thAnother visit to Hickory veterinary hospital. Misty saw the tec for heart worm test and nail trim . They are so kind and caring. Misty has serious white coat syndrome and panics . They take care of her so gently and lovinglyWe saw Dr Hancock and her tec on the 6th of February. They were both so kind and friendly. Misty is getting over her white coat syndrome which is hard as she is a great Pyrenees. It's such a joy to go to a caring practice that is about the health of the patient rather than the bottom line. Dr Hancock is well beloved by her patients parents as they trust her to do her upmost for the pets .”

“We brought in a stray cat about an hour before they closed just to see if he had a chip. We were not expecting to get him examined as it was so close to closing and the doctors were completely booked, but the technicians were so helpful and kind, they offered great advice and assured us that we were doing the right thing with the cat. I’m considering them for my own cats primary care. Unfortunately I do not remember the techs name, but they were all great.EDIT: We think the techs name was Lia :)”

They’re an hour away from where we live but they are worth every mile!!”

“I've used hope springs for the last 2 years and have always had a pleasant experience. Recently I brought my 1yo kitty Fiona in and made sure to tell them she gets nervous. She was a rescue and still very skittish. The vet came in speaking quietly so she didn't startle her and she did everything she could to make sure Fiona was comfy and at ease. We had to keep blankets on her so she felt safe and eventually wrap her up like a burrito to get blood work done and everyone was very understanding. Thank you hope springs for making Fiona's first vet visit a good experience for both of us.”

“we found Centerville Animal Hospital because our regular vet couldn't take our 2 dogs for boarding. After arranging for Centerville to get a copy of our dogs medical records, we were able to board them for several days. They send us updates daily, and with a picture of them being walked outside. This is unexpected and very welcome. Since then we have had them boarded a few more times. and have found that their prices for prescription food is much less expensive then our regular vet. and their Grooming service is very good as well. Once our dogs no longer require care for an existing condition, we will switch to Centerville for all of our needs for our 2 dogs.”

“The caring Vets here at Mt. Pleasant are a treasure for this community. Not only do they take care of our 'buddies' through preventive care, but they are also compassionate when it comes time to make the decision that no pet owner really wants to face... but that is ultimately necessary to alleviate unnecessary suffering. This was the case for me when two of my long-time furry friends reached the end of their journeys. The staff gave me options to consider, and reasons for them. I knew I would stay for the procedures to make sure each of my furbabies saw my face as they departed, not wanting either to have any anxiety about being deserted. The Vet in my case was very compassionate and very professional. I really don't know how they can emotionally process what they do multiple times in a week, but we need to appreciate their work as a compassionate service to us... because they are there with us through it all. They are not just business people, they are people who can get depressed too. Next time you're in, thank them for the jobs they do.”
