“This location at Great Bridge Shopping Center is always better than the other one near me. However, ever since the remodel it's even better than before & I didn't think that was possible. The customer service is always so welcoming. The store is always clean. Their inventory of different types/brands is larger. This is & will be my go to.”

“I'm going to give it up for this Chesapeake ABC and go all the way with a full 5 stars. From answering the phone to customer service in the store this ABC site has it together. My visit was scheduled around a phone call around 10 AM to locate a gift for a friend. A nice staff person named Stacey picked up when the store was closed. I told her I what I was looking for and she said they had a truck with a few rare brands. However, she did not want to get my hopes up on an extremely rare delivery of Old Fitzgerald. I arrived at the store off Cedar Rd. thats in a strip off the beaten path. Signage is not good unless your directly in front. Parking was excellent and the lot clear of debris. Upon arrival I was concerned with the small line that had formed at 11 30 AM. I waited and found out I was number four for three bottles of Old Fitzgerald bourbon. I decided to hang in there for other rare bourbon possibilities on the truck. When the store opened Rose held the door open for around 6 customers. I looked over their stock which was very good. The staff was very helpful and I explained that I was looking for a rare bourbon for a birthday present. I waited for anything to be put on the shelf from the truck. After around 30 minutes one of the staff told me the Old Fitzgerald was available as the third person did not want to purchase at the price point. Talk about lucky! The checkout was very smooth using a credit card. The staff was friendly and excited for my big score. I would recommend store 069. This is my first 5 star review of a Virginia ABC Store. I cannot be a regular with its distance but Chesapeake friends please visit them.”
“Walking down the by the registers,my daughter,and I ,were greeted with a friendly smile,and vocally by a sweet young lady.I made an effort to get in her line when checking out.She was just as cheery,and sunny as prior.Her tag said Christine.I left a package at the register,she came running after us with it.This little sweetheart is an asset to your store,and deserves your appreciation.
I said all this in light of the experience I had in your store in 2020 with a sorry excuse for a security team member that accused me of shoplifting thru the self checkout,when I was still holding the receipt,and change from the transaction.I wouldn’t have been so torqued if he had apologized,when he found he was wrong,but no,he blamed it on his monitor.Thus,with no apology,I called your home office,and your manager called me shortly thereafter,and rectified things.
Thus,I ask to let Christine know she is appreciated,and she’s a definite asset to you all.”
“Love this location, so close to the house I can grab my essentials without having to drive out 10miles. This place is so clean awesome staff. Never seen anything bad any foods being sold here.”

“Oh where do I start,this review is for all the individuals like me who take a sip from time to time ( all others may want to stop reading at this point )!. They normally have all the liquor you can I imagine, from tequila to rum just to name a few, they also have miniatures if you want to purchase smaller sample bottles if you're on the fence about a particular beverage. They also run sales on certain items if you can catch them at the right time,if you don't see what you want you can ask the cashier or any other employee and it's a possibility of them having more in stock at the back of the store. Pardon me for being slightly bias but I only took a photo of the items I was looking to purchase on this particular visit ( if you don't like tequila you may want to turn away and not view the pics below ). So if you're ever in the mood for a drink stop by your local Virginia ABC store for the beverage of your choice!!..”

“Very convenient location. Employees are always very helpful and courteous. Every time that I have been to this HT location and needed to find an item before I could ask out loud an employee was there ensuring that I was finding all of the items that I needed. Many times I've found items at HT that I could not find at any other grocery store in the area. I LOVE the salad bar and the hot food bars here. The food is always fresh and items are always stocked. There is ample parking and no shortage of happy helpful employees. Happy Shopping Yeeps!!!”
“This is the most friendly and polite staff I have interacted with. The HT at Greenbriar on the other hand was cold shouldered and made me feel unwelcome, with the exception of ONE out of all the others. With Orchard Square, I enjoy the friendly smiles and genuine helpfulness. Two cashiers especially come in mind for their friendliness and professionalism, Miss Cheryl ,who I often see at self checkout, asks how I am and is always a well wisher. You will not regret coming here.”
