“I had a bad taste in my mouth about Food Lion from years and years ago. I remember them with bad produce and extremely high prices....Fast forward and I've been shopping at HT for a while and the prices don't seem so bad. Haha.This store in particular is in a beautiful location in Red Mill area near Sandbridge and has wonderful produce and is well-stocked and clean.It's still not my top choice for all my groceries but they have wonderful deals on fresh green grapes (my husband's favorite) and have some weekly deals and specials that make a stop in totally worth it!”
“I told the clerk I was looking to make a pitcher of Moscow Mule and he showed us to all the ingredients without having to look them up. Location offers some common mixers like lime and ginger beer. Prices reasonable. Not busy or crowded. One stop shop if you're making cocktails.”
“A couple of great visits to one of Virginia Beaches newest stores that opened during lockdown Spring of 2020. Few still even know they are there and the business is just off two busy roads. Find them in the Birdneck Shoppes in between Laskin & Virginia Beach Boulevard. The store is one of two anchors and signage is exceptionally good on the building. This Virginia ABC has a fresh new look and is inviting to customers. Parking is nearby and the lot has been clean. The interior although clean, bright and extremely organized with displays is a letdown on size. The bourbon area particularly has less shelf space than others. However still a strong inventory of favorites. They also have a refrigerator offering cold alcoholic items such as Jack Daniels Honey. What has elevated the store is their fabulous customer service from staff and female manager. Twice the manager has went above and beyond to assist me with harder to find allocated bottles. Although this is a store that I could easily drive to from my home it's not one that I will frequent with nearby Hilltop being superior on bourbon inventory. That should take nothing away from one of the newest and cleanest stores in Virginia Beach.”

“My mom has been raving about this place for a couple of months now and she really wanted me to experience it for the first time. We decided to brave the cold and traveled all the way from Norfolk to Wegmans. This place reminded me of Kroger, but better. The first thing that we saw as soon as we entered Wegmans were all of the food places (burger bar, sandwich place, desserts, etc). There is alot of fresh food and hot food there. If you keep walking further into Wegmans, you see aisles like a traditional grocery store. We purchased a couple of items. We also decided to get a large sub sandwich. I stopped at the cafe to get some hot cocoa. It is a great place to get groceries and something to eat.”

My mother-in-law and I visited Total Wine in October to gather information on alcohol for my wife and I's November wedding. We were fortunate enough to work with Caroline, who made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped inside. She was prepared with multiple wines and champagnes for us to taste, and was happy to provide recommendations alongside her expert opinion. Caroline truly went above and beyond. “This store is small but new and bright and airy. It's in a prime location in town center near Pottery Barn and Cold Pressed.Parking is street right in front. Easy in and out last weekend for some essentials. Standard visit but easy as pie!”

“I've only been to this particular ABC store a few times with it being out of my way. However when they have the product I'm looking for I never hesitate. The location is visible off Ferrell Parkway in a strip. The store is on the corner of the building. Parking is plentiful and lit clean. This was delivery day so the store had some nice allocated bottles of bourbon. Boxes were on the floor as they rushed product up the best they could. It appeared they were short staffed, who isn't these days. I found what I was looking for in a Knob Creek 12 year and a EH Taylor Small Batch. The manager checked me out and was friendly. She discussed a few things going on with Virginia ABC that was helpful. This is not a regular, but recommend and would happily return.”

“Pretty good store. It is a perfect location for me because It is close to the location I need to deliver the items to. They are pretty good with having everything I need but not always. Parking is a bit crowded and this is a busy ABC store. If they do not have the items I need there are other ABC stores that are close enough to run to and the staff can look up the item and see what store has it.”

“I love this store. I actually pass Kroger to come here because I love it more. The employees are always so friendly and helpful. I've had employees take me all over the store looking for a product and then when they realized they didn't have it, they told me where I could go to buy it. My favorite employees are the ones at checkout. Frank is always friendly, as well as Tahquisha. They're both a pleasure to talk to. There's another guy, but I don't remember his name. Then other random employees I see around the store always say hello or good morning and ask me how my day is going. This store has the absolute best customer service. Def my fav neighborhood store.”

Several people where lined up for the event. Fiona, Angie, and Tae did a great job making the event fun and friendly. I always feel welcome in this ABC store. Fiona and her entire team at this ABC store work hard to help every customer. This is a model staff and ABC store. I will continue shopping on a regular basis at the ABC store.”
