“Five Star consignment boutique! High end retail pieces for a great price. Emily was at the register - she was super friendly and even informed me that everything in the store is also available online. I’ll be back for another visit for sure!”

The two sisters are indefatigable and have a shared passion what they want their ultimate store to reflect. They look for quality and sellability in the Charlottesville community and particularly in the surrounding university communities. I am thrilled to be a part of the experience and thank them for both the consignments that they have accepted from me as well as the marvelous purchases I have made in the store. thank you to all the staff.”
“Fabulous shop full of unique and fashionable accessories and clothing. High and low price points for every vintage hunter that’ll make you dream of coming back for more. Couldn’t resist this 70s necklace and wore it the same evening for a wedding. Can’t wait to return!j”

418 E Main St, Charlottesville“I love this place! Rhoda freely gave me a 45 minute consult - she’s a personal stylist and very talented. She knew just what I needed - when I didn’t! She doesn’t pressure you to purchase her items either. I now have the ability to make my wardrobe representative of who I am today. I love this dress!”

And Low saved the day when I was shooting a film last year and had a last-minute wardrobe problem for my leading lady: They had the perfect dress -- and at a perfect price, too. A downtown gem!”

1700 Allied St, Charlottesville“The best antique shop in Charlottesville by far! I have found so many great things here, above and beyond what I ever expected, and very reasonable pricing on most items! The staff is efficient and friendly, contrary to what some dishonest reviewers have said. I live close to Circa and go frequently. Everyone there is always friendly (and in a good way, not in a pushy annoying way).”

“I’ve never been inside of another thrift store quite like this one. It’s unique diversity in all sorts of lines in apparel from Nike Patagonia under armor, American Eagle Carhart, etc. I don’t know if I will ever go to another store quite like this one and that makes my heart sad. I am just visiting this beautiful place if you live here feel lucky to have such a hidden gem in this Community”
“Made a trip to Plato's today. I always leave with a stack of clothes! I chatted with one of the owners today and she was super nice. I love some Plato's!”
“Had SUCH a wonderful experience swinging by High Tor when I was in a pinch and needing some shoes I could play indoor volleyball in (thought I was going to be subbing on an outdoor game). I called while on my way, 10 mins before closing, and the woman who assisted me was reassuring about timing, stayed on the phone and checked stock for me while I was on my way, so that when I got there she already had the shoes and socks ready to go at the register for me and I got back to the game exactly on time. Unbelievable. She saaaaaved the day, I appreciate the help so so much. Having worked 10+ years of retail customer service myself, this was absolutely above and beyond effort/care (AND she was knowledgeable about volleyball/footwear to boot). Super super impressed and grateful, thank you thank you thank you.”
