“Really cute little Korean clothing and accessories boutique!! I'm a fan of Korean style/aesthetic, and have always wanted to visit one of the little boutiques in Annandale, VA. I ventured in and was wooed to make several lovely purchases by the very attentive shopkeeper! One cool thing is that we discovered we have variants of the same surname! (My husband is half Korean.) It's a relatively uncommon Korean name, so that was pretty neat. I probably wouldn't have bought anything (the items were a bit pricey for my income), but Kum (the nice shopkeeper) gave me discounts after I asked if there were any sale items. I realized that you can definitely barter a bit, especially if it's your first time. They want to make you a repeat customer!I was surprised by the pretty leather handbags. They were a bit too expensive for me, but my eye was caught. They have a variety of colors and styles (more unique than you'll find at TJ Maxx). The clothing was interesting. A lot of the styles were not quite for me (intentionally loose blouses with pretty involved/sparkly patterns), but there were a few that I absolutely loved. I ended up getting two BEAUTIFUL flowy skirts, of very good quality. It's so hard to find delicately made, modest, beautifully worked skirts like these. I bought a blouse that has a lovely pattern (it's a fabric that Kum assured me is sought-after in Korea). I bought the loveliest little tulle scarf (they had a variety of colors...could have bought them all). Kum was constantly checking on me as I was trying things on and brought me tops and bottoms based on what I'd picked out. As a former sales associate for a women's boutique, I can tell you that this strategy WORKS and is actually appreciated by customers who just want a little encouragement (and a little pampering, if I'm being honest!). She even brought me some bold kitten heels...that cracked me up! But I was actually considered some black-and-white striped ones...and I never in a million years would have tried them on without her suggestion.I also bought something I never thought I'd buy...stylish tennis shoes. They're absolutely adorable (see the photo I posted). They were thoughtfully displayed in the fitting room stall (brilliant marketing move, putting attractive handbags and a variety of shoes in there to catch your eye!). They look like they're emulating a designer (I'm not in the know enough to know which one) and are super cute.Kum asked me how I'd found her shop. I had seen a few Korean boutiques while getting amazing authentic Korean comfort food, and did a simple search on Apple Maps for "Korean apparel." There are several other boutiques in the area which I look forward to perusing. She said she would love to attract more visitors who aren't Korean. I told her that I agreed, that I thought lots of ladies would love her store. She asked if I could leave a review and I enthusiastically assented!Visit this store if you want to spend an afternoon imagining what it would be like to shop in Korea! Don't worry...prices are displayed in USD, not Korean won. ;) There's something for everyone here, and I bet you'll be asked where you found your purchase!”

He was very patient and eager to encourage me to continue trying different shoes until I found my perfect match. They took the time with passion to educate me on how to choose the right fit and so many other aspects of excellent foot health. They also helped me come to a conclusion that the Glycerin 21's Brooks (at a great value price) are the most comfortable for my feet and also happens to be my favorite shoes ever. DXL’s clothes are made to last, and most are 100% natural fibers (I despise polyester and acrylic). The store always has a diverse inventory that is perfect for every season or occasion. The accessories are nice too. I needed a good pair of jeans (which is so hard to find today) and she worked really gave me the help I needed. This includes going through the different styles and sizes to help me find a great pair of jeans!! I tried on so many styles and she was honest about which were the best for me and what I felt most comfortable in. The jeans I got are amazing. Even my coworkers commented on how good these jeans look on me. They are good quality and good everyday jeans. I recommend going here and having Maisy help you.”

“Jason is the ski boot guru. I had bought custom boots from SnS a couple years ago only for them to be super uncomfortable after 2 wears. I brought them in and worked with someone who was not that helpful and did nothing more than heat mold the liners. A friend suggested I contact Jason who moonlights at SnS. I brought them in, explained what was happening, and he worked on them for 1.5 hours. I left having boots that were no longer cutting off my circulation and were actually comfortable. Cannot recommend Jason enough. I will definitely be buying my next set of boots from him.”

“Seriously some of the best customer service I've ever had. It's just a vans store... I've had vans for decades, and IMO they're just standard shoes/clothes. But I took my kid here to find some shoes today, and the two women working had it on lock down. They were fantastic-- and I was so impressed with their attitudes towards the customers (which there were MANY) and ability to keep everything flowing. My kid tried on several pairs since he's in between sizes right now, and they were just so incredibly sweet to him. They worked really well together and just created a nice atmosphere. Thank you so much for staffing such amazing people. They definitely stuck out to us as exceptional.”

“I had a wonderful experience at this store yesterday! I'm out-of-town visiting my daughter and decided to stop in. I love this brand. They had a great selection of new items up front and a huge clearance section since several lines just got marked down recently and were an additional 40% off. When I couldn't find the size I needed the sales person (Vanessa) made some calls and found me exactly what I wanted at another store and had it sent it right to my house. J.Jill's catalog customer service won't even search store locations for product any more, but this store did so efficiently and in a super friendly manner. Would go back in a heartbeat. “Last week I went into this store not really looking for anything specific. The employees were friendly upon me entering so I continued to look around. I stumbled upon some boots and gave them a try. I ended up trying on a few pair and the people working were ever so kind to me while doing so. I absolutely loved the vibe in the store and ended up purchasing a pair of Docs and some socks. Wonderful customer service! Terrell was the name of the guy working and I can’t remember the names of the two women. All were amazing! Will be going back there for any shoes I need in the future!”

“Went to red wing in Fairfax today and was looking for my usual style boot - Cindy/Sindy was super helpful explaining all pros and cons to each boot and what would fit my needs for work best. I left with a pair of boots that I would have never chosen on my own but thanks to Cindy/Sindy I think the pair I brought home is exactly what I’ve been looking for to solve my main issues on having to replace boots every year or so.
