“I was planning to drive to Charlottesville and drove in to Amherst to search hotels online. I looked across the street and found this little inn for a lot less than what was offered in Charlottesville. It had pretty decent reviews so I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. Owner/staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Amenities offerings were plentiful. I would definitely stay again. My only issue was it was a bit small. It might be tight for 2 people.”

“This Inn, located on Sweet Briar College's campus, is a great place to stay, whether you are a student, visiting a student, or a potential student.The scenery here is fantastic, it is settled at the edge of the woods at the front of campus. Lots of deer live in this area!All the rooms are extremely clean. The carpets are a bright white. Each room has its own cute, classy decor. There are plenty of rooms, but when there is a large campus event, it can get fully booked. If it is not busy, there are plenty of different sizes of rooms to choose from to accommodate your needs. There is also a room where they serve breakfast in the mornings.The employees at check in are so sweet. So is housekeeping!”
